Tour del Game of Thrones in Islanda

Stefan is extremely knowledgeable about not only the Game of thrones details but of Iceland culture and history as well.

I was looking for a tour in Iceland that would bring me to places I had seen 44 years ago. So I happend to find Stefan's icelandgameofthronestours.com. Everything I read on that page convinced me that he should be my private guide – not the cheapest way of doing a guided tour but it was worth every cent. I indeed saw all the places I wanted to see (and some more!) The two of us started on 11th of May 2023 from Reykjavík. Stefan was a friendly, knowledgeable, informative, funny guide and maybe Master of the Weather. It did not rain when we were out of the car looking at waterfalls, old (reconstructed) houses, excavation sites, ravines and more waterfalls. I loved every minute of the day. I highly recommend his tour.

Stefan is a terrific guide. During our time together, he provided education and was entertaining at the same time. During the tour he played videos of the scenes from GOT that we were visiting. To actually walk where the scenes were filmed was fantastic. The show, videos and pictures do not do the topography of Iceland justice. Stefan was also very accommodating as we added a couple of stops to our tour. We would definitely hire Stefan again while visiting Iceland. The conversations with him made a very memorable day even better. We now have a friend in Iceland.

This tour was fabulous! If you love Game of Thrones, you will absolutely love this tour. This tour takes you back to where it all came to life. We hiked up mountains and walked down valleys, stood by waterfalls and had a great time. There were 4 of us, ranging in age from 54-80 years old. I’ve had several back surgeries and 12 knee surgeries and was able to do this without a problem. The tour is at your own pace, so everyone can enjoy it. Bottom line: Game of thrones enthusiasts - you gotta go! For everyone else, this country is beautiful and you too will have an absolutely amazing time!

This was a great compliment to other tours we took out of Reykjavik. Different perspective and several off the beaten path places to see and avoid crowds. Dee Dee,our guide, was absolutely great. Energetic, knowledgeable, and made this trip really fun. Great adventure.

Stefan did repair work for us several times and on each occasion, the work was high quality, done quickly, and his response times were fast. My family and I have not been on a bike tour, but we did get to hear some of his first-hand Game of Thrones stories and got to see some of his authentic props from the show. Any GOT fan should check out his tours for sure.

This is a great trip for all Game of Thrones fans and also those who know nothing about the show.Really nice and knowledgeable tour guide ,I would recomend it even for groups over 10 people .
