Itinerario

The parking situation is a train wreck. It’s took us 35 minutes to find a spot and missed our booked time. We were only able to see the bridge and had to miss seeing the ice field.
If you like crowds, lines, and waiting this is for you. Operationally this is a well oiled machine pumping people thru a system. Things run on time and are efficient. The drivers are great. It’s just 4 bus transfers and so many people.
Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. The glacier experience and the skywalk experience was amazing. Well worth it.
I would definitely recommend this glacier tour for anyone who is in Banff and has not been to the Columbia Icefield. It was a truly memorable and amazing experience. Our tour guide Stefie was exceptional and so full of fun ! We even did the glacier facial an experience which I will remember for the rest of my life ! We all had a great time and lunch was fantastic no one was left hungry. There is sooooo much to do and see and not one moment of dullness. The skywalk is also something that is a must do. We even saw a mother black bear and three cubs on the say and all became friends at the end of the tour. We all had such a wonderful experience and trip ! Thanks to the Brewster team !
Our Columbia Icefield Discovery (through Brewster) was an excellent day. Firstly, it’s a long day….7.45am collection, 6.15pm drop off so a lot of time on a bus necessitates great hosting….and that’s what we got! Our tour leader, Aaron, and driver, Gerald, were both a big part of the day. Aaron was well organised, really friendly and super knowledgeable…not just about the tour and what we were seeing but also with loads of historical stories about the area and people who were a big part of making the Rockies what they are today. Similarly (and in my experience, unusually), Gerald spent a lot of time on the mic and brought a local, Canadian, perspective. They were a great team! As for the tour…..we left Banff in sunshine and picked some guests up in Lake Louise so had a brief stop at the lake. This worked for us as we’d visited the day before on a tour that took in Moraine Lake. We then had a stop at Lake Peyto….with stunning aerial views….and on return to the bus, Gerald had laid a table to provide hot drinks and snacks. Very welcome after our early start. It was then on to the Icefield….and as we got closer the clouds descended and the heavens opened! This made our SkyWalk a bit of wet affair but impressive nonetheless. The hot buffet lunch in the Discovery Centre was really good quality….and allowed the clouds to lift so that our Glacier Walk was dry. It really was a memorable experience….heading up onto the glacier in the big tyred vehicle driven by Chad….and then spending 30 mins on the ice. Be prepared it is cold and windy but so worth it…..including the Glacial Facial….essentially submerging your face in glacial water for the promise of eternal youth!! The journey back to Banff was long but helped by Aaron’s historical anecdotes. All told, a great day that will live long in the memory. Thanks to Aaron, Gerald and team Brewster!
Very well times and managed a must experience. Go with friends and family and have a blast with everyone!
Yes we had good experience with this tour We booked multiple tours we went all in different days it’s perfect for visitors
Amazing tour. Starting in a bus the ice explorer tout gets you to the explorers and on the glacier. Really a special experience. Afterwards they bring you to the skywalk. Aaron was an excellent guide and the tour is a must do activity in the area.
The tour was organized and the tour guides were very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our experience!
The schedule is smooth, the time to watch is plenty, the view is magnificent, and the experience is good.
