Uno dei luoghi di pellegrinaggio religioso più importanti della Thailandia è Wat Saket, che traduce come la Golden Mountain. Questo tempio collinare presenta un chedi d'oro scintillante che si pensa contenga una reliquia dello stesso Buddha. Può essere fatta risalire al periodo Ayutthaya, il che significa che potrebbe avere fino a 800 anni!
Altrimenti conosciuto come il Tempio del Buddha sdraiato, questo è uno dei più grandi e imponenti monumenti del tempio di Bangkok. Un mare infinito di stupa a mosaico rende Wat Pho molto diverso dagli altri templi della capitale: non c'è da meravigliarsi che sia un sito protetto dall'UNESCO.
Nominato il punto di riferimento numero 1 in Thailandia su TripAdvisor, non ci sono scuse per la mancanza di Wat Arun. Questo complesso religioso, chiamato anche il Tempio di Dawn, è noto per le sue guglie bianche da sogno che possono essere viste per miglia intorno. Il modo migliore per raggiungerlo è salendo su una barca fluviale da Wat Pho, dandoti la possibilità di immergerti nello scenario mentre viaggiamo tra i due.

We just did the Bangkok: Wat Pho and Wat Arun Guided Walking Tour (booking No. 41HFOBDSF6LY) with Pranee aka Nina and it was spectacular. The temples were absolutely beautiful and Pranee explain and show us the beauty of these temples and she e palin the history and art behind them! She was also extremely funny and make the experience amazing!
