No one showed up to give the tour. We messaged them five min after the waiting time. We waited thirty minutes.
This is the best tour I have done in Minca. This is the most amazing tour in all the area. We saw the most breathtaking landscapes, we had an amazing cacao beverage and then we got the opportunity to talk to the community and we got explanations about everything, music, beliefs, language, and representation within the Colombian government. But the best past was the last one, we had a concert with the native instruments. I give it 10/10. Thank u Leo, I really enjoyed it!
A great experience with Leo, who kindly introduced us to the Wiwa community. We were able to discuss traditions, prepare cocoa and listen to music on their land. Thank you Leo, Lorenzo, el Mamo Jose, Jose y Josephina.
We did this tour on New Year's Eve and there couldn't have been a better way to close our year. Leo was such an incredible guide, was patient, gave us all the information we needed and more. He was very energetic and nice! We enjoyed the tour, the views, the coffee. Honestly we enjoyed everything!
We booked this tour expecting to visit a coffee and cocoa plantation, explaining the process and a real tasting. In practice, however, we ended up at a hostel with one cocoa tree. The coffee and cocoa part consisted of drinking a cup of coffee and a chocolate milk. We had hoped to learn more about cultivation, processing and flavours, and to be able to taste different types, for example. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. In addition, the tour turned out to be a long hike through the mountains. The route was mostly on a regular road and the viewpoints were not special, so this part had little added value. Guide Leonardo was enthusiastic, friendly and spoke good English, but sometimes so busy that the core information of the tour was lost. All in all, this tour did not live up to expectations.
Excellent guide! Super organized tour, on time, knows the area and the people. Amazing time, long trekking but worth it!
This tour was super fun. Our guide Leonardo was a real life legend. He had excellent local knowledge and took us to a variety of places, to meet members of a an indigenous tribe, try cocoa and coffee from the jungle, swim in a waterfall and after all that fed us a great lunch. Would highly recommend.
A great experience to meet Mincas neighbors and locale. A very authentic experience with a very passionate tour guide - hike to the waterfall was intense but worth it - you’ll see the wealth of relationships and enjoy the wealth of this area in nature and people.
Leonardo was such a welcoming and knowledgeable gide who took us to the most local and hidden points around Minca. It’s rare to see that passionate guide who loves their work. We has such a great time, the highlight of the tour was to see the indigenous tribe who rarely never show themselves to tourists like us. Amazing experience, really. 10/10 would recommend
I had a great experience, Leo was a great tour guide, full of energy! The hike was a great workout before enjoying the refreshing cold water of the waterfall. It was a beautiful time thank you!
