Austin è piena di storie spaventose (e non stiamo parlando solo dei prezzi degli affitti o del traffico) Unisciti a noi in questo deliziosamente macabro tour guidato di fantasmi a piedi per soli 18+ adulti che evidenzia alcune delle località più infestate del centro di Austin! Racconteremo storie di altre cose che vanno a sbattere nella notte dal primo serial killer di Austin alle leggende metropolitane e persino ad alcune attività di culto. Il tour è un’esperienza “boo-tique” in cui prendiamo sul serio la nostra narrazione, ma non noi stessi! Ci sforziamo di fornire coinvolgenti tour dei fantasmi che onorino gli spiriti di cui stiamo discutendo senza impantanarli con lunghi antefatti storici che sicuramente dimenticherai. (Amiamo anche un buon gioco di parole...) Si prega di notare: Questo tour non è un’immersione profonda nella storia della città di Austin e NON è un’indagine paranormale. L’unico edificio all’interno del quale entreremo è il Driskill Hotel quando disponibile. Se vedi un fantasma in una finestra o hai un’esperienza inspiegabile, è una ciliegina sulla torta! Siamo semplicemente fornitori di racconti spettrali.

Itinerario
Inizieremo il nostro tour fuori dal bellissimo Texas State Capitol. Discuteremo dei fantasmi che ancora infestano le ombre delle sale storiche dell'edificio e di alcune leggende metropolitane che rendono Austin strana.
Dai fantasmi dei texani del passato, ai cavalli fantasma, alle feste macabre, ci fermeremo davanti alla villa del governatore dove potrete scattare una foto veloce e scoprire i molti misteriosi avvenimenti che si verificano nell'edificio fino ad oggi. Mentre ci dirigiamo verso il nostro prossimo ritrovo, parleremo con i serial killer nella capitale.
Una donna vestita di bianco, barrette di cioccolato scomparse e proiettori infestati, un ragazzo che ama i maghi... tutti fantasmi adatti a un teatro leggendario.
Mentre ci dirigiamo verso la nostra destinazione finale, copriremo una breve storia di quello che un tempo doveva essere l'edificio più alto di Austin (ora ridente), oltre a discutere di una serie di leggende metropolitane del Texas come la Donkey Lady. Parleremo anche di alcune delle sette che hanno chiamato Austin casa in tempi passati... (e forse ancora oggi?)
Il Driskill Hotel non è solo un bellissimo edificio nel cuore del centro, è anche uno degli hotel più infestati dello stato. Copriremo qui gli spiriti più famosi di Austin; dalle spose abbandonate alle bambine, ritratti che sembrano guardare ogni tua mossa, ascensori con uomini fantasma scontrosi e altro ancora, teniamo il meglio per ultimo e confezioniamo il nostro ultimo punch Ha Ha Haunted con il finale del nostro tour! Nota: non entriamo nel Driskill.

We went on a tour with Celia and we just had the absolute best time! She was so fun and funny and also very informative. The length of the walking wasn’t too bad and she accommodated stopping near benches for my mom to be able to sit as well. She was respectful of the victims of crimes she shared about and also differentiated when she was telling a story about something verifiable versus just lore which was neat! 10/10 recommend! We took this tour 3 days ago and we’re still talking about how much we liked it and her!

Bring your walking shoes and use the restroom ahead of time. Dress accordingly to weather and be prepared for a uphill incline

Celia was our guide and did an amazing job. I generally don't care for guided tours because they feel so canned and scripted. Celia is not that kind of guide. She covers relevant facts to set the stage, but then the magic is in the details and stories she shares. Her passion for Austin is on full display and she has gone above and beyond by doing additional research on the backstories of the people. The result is a truly unique and informative experience, and her sense of humor is the cherry on top.
