Tour degli antropoidi - Seconda guerra mondiale a Praga

Descrizione

As a lifelong student of Nazi Getmany and the SS I have read extensively about the assasination of Heydrich. I didn’t need all the usual history stuff, just the extra stuff and the personal transport to all the sites. It was done professionally by a well educated woman who was superb. I saw everything I wanted to see as I wanted to see it backed up by a very knowledabke guide. A private tour, it was expensive. But very well worth the money.
Our guide Petr was very knowledgeable. Petr's driving was fairly conservative making us feel safe. The sites visited were very interesting and involved the exiled Czech's governments successful attempt to kill the top Nazi in Czech along with the self-sacrifice of the Czech troops who accomplished the assassination. Petr knew his way around the town.
Paul was our guide for the tour and he was great! Very knowledgeable and gave us a proper insight into Operation Anthropoid . The tour was roughly 2.5 hours during which we got to see genuine photos and documents of wartime Czecoslovakia , visiting the crypt you could imagine the fear of those brave men fighting for their country. Very sad , we would recommend this tour 100%..thankyou
Vaclav was an excellent and knowledgeable guide! If you are interested in World War II, cannot recommend this tour enough.
Patrick was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide who explained the history through a narrative in time through each stop. The order of the tour is fantastic, and helps explain how everything unfolded. We didn’t know much about the history before the tour; we are so glad we did it. Highly recommend!
Had recently watched the movie “Anthropoid”, so was really looking forward to seeing the actual sites depicted in the film. Our guide, Petr, truly brought this history alive with his thorough knowledge and skilled delivery of historical information during our tour. The visit with Petr to Litice, just outside of Prague, should be a must for any stay in Prague. Very moving and a beautifully constructed remembrance to the victims of the aftermath of Operation Anthropoid. You’ll also visit the location/museum where the Nazi “Butcher of Prague” resided. The actual location of the attack on him by the brave Czech/Slovak paratroopers is also shown. The final stop will take you to the actual church in Prague, where the final stand occurred against their Nazi pursuers. We could not have asked for a more friendly and professional guide and host for this 5 hour tour than Petr! He even dropped us at an amazing Czech restaurant he recommended (at our request) for lunch, that we would never have known about on our own. Thanks again Petr for an experience that we will never forget. Highly recommend this tour!
The family-run business is without equal! Patrick was magnificent. hotel front-door pick up, perfect English, nerdy-knowledgeable about the history, charismatic, an expert driver on the busy Czech Streets. I will try and take ALL their tours! The Best!
Hello Sir! Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It was an honor to take you in the footsteps of Gabcik and Kubis. Patrik
We had no idea what were were in for as our tour started. In late 1941, Operation Anthropoid was established. On May 27, 1974, British trained Czechoslovakian paratroopers Jan Kubis and Josef Gabsik were tasked with assassinating the 3rd highest raining Nazi, SS Obergruppenfuher Reinhard Heydrich. The story of what happened should be part of every visit to Prague. There are a few movies on the events. Operation Anthropoid and The Killing of Reinhard Heydrick to name 2.
Thank you so much for the review. You are right-Anthropoid Tour is a very important tour and we are very happy, you enjoyed this tour with us. Thank you very much! Lucy
Fantastic time with Roman. Learned a ton about the sorry time in Czech history when we visited Lidiće. The crypt was amazing. Van was comfortable and air conditioned and it was a hot day. Roman was great company as well. Lucy Tours comes through again!

Awesome knowledge! We had a private one day tour, taking in Terezim, Heydrich’s house, village wiped out in retaliation, corner where the car was attacked, the church. Full on day but so worth it. Patrick our guide was very accomplished and accommodating. Throughly recommend using this company.
Thank you very much Jason! You and your family were clearly very interersted in WWII history which makes my job so much more pleasant. All the best to you! Patrik
