I was amazed at how many things were covered on this tour. The tour guide was engaging and extremely knowledgeable. Everything was very professional with more things included and a fraction of the cost of a cruise excursion.

It was easy to board, Dan waa welcoming and a wealth of knowledge along the tour and more. The sights were nice. We learned a lot of history and culture about Hawaii. The bus was comfortable, clean and air conditioned. Would definitely recommend especially with the tour guide Dan.

Kimo was a great guide. Nice tour to volcano rim plus trips to macadamia nut factory, big island candy store, and waterfall. Enjoyed lunch at art studio too.

Excellent tour. Gardens, Banyan trees, Rainbow falls, Lava tube, Kilauea crater, Volcano House, Big Island candies and more! Kemo, our tour guide was great! Tons of Cultural knowledge and local flavor. He made the tour personal and relevant.

Today, we took this tour. Dan our driver and tour guide was the best I have ever encountered in my many years of traveling. His knowledge of the island was amazing. This tour was small very relaxing and comfortable. I would not hesitate to do this again and would request Dan.

Our tour guide Kimo was awesome. The volcano was currently going off so he headed straight there incase the park was closed due to possible lava rock shower. We made it just before they closed the park. It was an AMAZING experience. Kimo was a great tour guide of all the other places he took us to. Great personality!! This tour was absolutely lovely! Our guide was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable of the island! The tour covered numerous highlights of Hilo, and they picked us up right at the port where our cruise docked. We stopped by Liliʻuokalani Gardens where we saw lush greenery and wandering nene. We passed through Bayan Drive with the Hilo Walk of Fame with names such as Amelia Earhart and Babe Ruth! Next we stopped at Rainbow Falls and climbed to the overlook. We were provided Blue Hawaii water to stay hydrated, and ponchos to stay dry in the scattered showers of the day. When we stopped at the Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, our guide let us borrow his binoculars so that we could make the most of the views and see the Volcano’s magma through the steam. During our Thurston Lava Tube stop, we were provided flashlights by our guide so that we could explore better too. We also stopped by a local fruit stand, where our guide bought us exotic fruit to sample as a group. Lastly we stopped by the Big Island Candy Company were they gave out free samples of macadamia nut cookies and coffee. My mother has a walker, and our guide was so attentive and helpful when she was transitioning in and out of the van for each stop. I highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour for a cruise port day visit. Gives you a good overview of the major tourist spots in Hilo. Kimo, our driver, was excellent. Very knowledgeable. During our drive he would talk about the Hawaiian culture as we would pass by areas along the way. It was a rainy day, but Kimo made the best by altering the itinerary to get the most of the trip along a few extra stops. Highly recommend.
