I had an incredible experience with Francis and Yusuf! My friend and I arrived during the presidential elections when the political climate was rough and the internet was really blacked out. We were unable to research or contact anyone on our own . Francis and Yusuf made sure we arrived everywhere safely, showed us around Kampala and contacted everyone and set up everyone on our behalf! They even organized a last minute chimpanzee trek for us, which was crazy to do during that time! They really went above and beyond for us during such a time of uncertainty, at the end of the day they wanted us to still experience the beauty of Uganda and always wanted the best for us and our safety. I really appreciate it and will remember their hospitality forever. I highly recommend booking!
The city tour in Kampala was a special experience. Especially the visit to the largest market was fascinating. Definitely worth doing this tour.
'Palace' was not visible and Museum closed for renovation!!! Addition 10 Dollars entry fee for watching trees and 20 Dollars for empty former King house
Hi Casserini, we appreciate your feedback and we have been trying to convince those destinations to reduce entrance fees but still waiting for their feedback. Unfortunately we don’t decide how much destinations should charge and our work is to give you information and also take you to those destinations for more. About Uganda museum being under renovation still we are waiting for them to finish and reopen but for now we gonna add another destination as alternative to go as we’re waiting for it to reopen. Seeing trees and empty house is your own interpretation of experience and we all know that people have different tastes and preferences so your are right to interpret the way you want. We are sorry for your dissatisfaction that you encountered during the experience and we promise to improve this product. Thank you so much for supporting us We hope to meet you again.
Cycling on Lake Victoria Island was an unforgettable experience that combined breathtaking scenery, cultural immersion, and a sense of adventure. The island's lush landscapes, dotted with vibrant greenery and surrounded by the shimmering waters of Africa's largest lake, provided a stunning backdrop for every pedal stroke. The cycling trails ranged from gentle paths to more challenging routes, catering to all skill levels while offering opportunities to explore local villages and interact with friendly residents. Along the way, I enjoyed serene moments by the lakeshore, spot unique bird species, and soak in the tranquility of this natural paradise. It was a perfect blend of outdoor activity and cultural discovery, that left me refreshed and inspired.
In May 2024, I had the opportunity to embark on a captivating Buganda cultural tour with my family. One of the highlights was our visit to the sacred Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where we gained a profound appreciation for the spiritual and architectural significance of this revered site. The Buganda cultural tour with my friends was a truly enlightening experience. At the Uganda Museum, I was immediately captivated by the stunning architecture of the grassthatched "akasisila" buildings, which I had never seen before.
