Il mercato Mahane Yehuda illustra la diversità della società israeliana e i cibi dei vari gruppi etnici che ne derivano. Tra un boccone di Sabich e un boccone di Kenafe, ascolteremo la storia dei fondatori del mercato, dei diversi cibi e dell'artista che una notte decise di decorare i negozi con graffiti e trasformare il mercato in una galleria.

Orna was amazing! Both at the Davidson Center and at the shuk tour, she was very focused on everyone’s needs. She was great with the adults and children in our group. We had a fun and educational experience!

Orna was terrific. Intelligent, educated and fun to be with. Her command of the history and religions in Jerusalem is nothing short of extraordinary. And, she is so personable, that halfway through the tour it felt more like she was family. If you tour Jerusalem with her BE SURE to end it with her culinary tour of the Mahane Yahuda market.
