Questa collina è il luogo perfetto per iniziare il nostro tour ad Antigua Guatemala. Faremo un'escursione di circa 15 minuti fino a ottenere una splendida vista a volo d'uccello della città circondata da 3 splendidi vulcani. Sono necessarie buone condizioni fisiche, in caso contrario inizieremo il nostro tour da La Merced Church.
Questa è una bellissima chiesa gialla e il miglior esempio di architettura barocca guatemalteca. La chiesa del XVIII secolo è una delle più belle di Antigua Guatemala. È circondato da un bellissimo giardino, vendite di artigianato e ottimi caffè che offrono autentico caffè "Antigüeño" (caffè di Antigua Guatemala) che ha note di cioccolato dovute al suo processo di tostatura.
Ci sposteremo nel punto più famoso di Antigua Guatemala: The Arch Street, dove si trova l'Arco di Santa Catalina. Questo posto è diventato il simbolo di Antigua e l'immagine centrale sulla maggior parte delle cartoline. In origine, questo arco fu costruito dal Convento di Santa Catarina Mártir nel 1693. Antigua is a city that captivates from the very first moment. Every cobblestone street, every church, every square, and every corner has a special charm that invites you to walk leisurely and discover its history. What I liked the most was the warm atmosphere, the kindness of the people, and the stunning views of the volcanoes surrounding the city. There are countless cafes, restaurants, and terraces where it is worth stopping to enjoy the moment. After walking through its streets, visiting its viewpoints, and experiencing its culture, I understood why so many people return again and again. Antigua is not just a tourist destination; it is a place that you feel and live. I left with my heart full of memories and the certainty that I will return someday.
Cancelled at almost 10pm the night before… and only communication via the app (which does not prompt a notification) instead of sending a direct WhatsApp message. Poor customer service because there was no opportunity to book anno tour for the day. Didn’t ask to reschedule - did provide a refund.
Very excellent service, the transporter contacted me a day before and the next day he contacted me again to pick us up, very punctual
