Loved the tour. The driver was punctual and got us to the ferry on time. When we arrived the second tour guy was there to meet us to get the tickets and help us navigate the whole ferry ticketing system with us not being South African. The tour itself is a sad and necessary story that needs to be told. The survivors are still going through the injustices til this very day! Never received compensation for the years of torture and pain they went through, but still come back to tell their story…..it’s an important and sad truth. I learned other interesting facts about the place outside of it being a prison. Upside to the place are the beautiful penguins you get to see
What an experience had , we truly enjoy this tour. From the friendly guide that picked us up at our hotel to the ex prisoner who led this tour. It was very well planned and very engaging . Highly recommend
