In una giornata monumentale, colleghiamo i due estremi del Terzo Reich: la brutale realtà del Campo di concentramento di Mauthausen e l'imponente simbolo del potere, il Nido dell'Aquila (Kehlsteinhaus). Questa è una lunga giornata (circa 12 - 13 ore), ma l'abbiamo progettata per il vostro comfort. Mentre guidiamo verso ovest, la tua Guida introduce il contesto storico dell'annessione nazista dell'Austria.
Affrontiamo prima il lato oscuro della storia. Passeggiando per il memoriale, la caserma e la cava, si assiste alla macchina del regime. È un inizio sobrio che fonda il resto della giornata nella realtà.
Ci dirigiamo verso il confine Tedesco. Lo scenario cambia da dolci colline a drammatiche vette alpine. Questo è il momento perfetto per rilassarsi, bere acqua e ascoltare storie sul mito della "Fortezza alpina".
Arriviamo a Obersalzberg e prendiamo lo speciale ascensore in ottone fino alla vetta. The View : a 1.834 metri, ci si trova dove sono state prese le decisioni, con vista su Austria e Germania. Lunch on Top : ci riserviamo il pranzo nel ristorante all'interno dell'ex sala conferenze. Godetevi il cibo tradizionale bavarese con una vista panoramica mozzafiato. (Costo del pranzo non incluso). La Storia : Guarda il camino presentato da Mussolini e discuti il valore propagandistico di questo ritiro. La vista dal Nido dell'Aquila dipende dal tempo. Si prega di portare una giacca calda anche in estate, come può essere ventoso in vetta.
Dopo una lunga giornata ricca di emozioni e di contenuti visivi, potrai dormire comodamente sul sedile posteriore mentre il tuo autista professionista ti riporterà a casa in tutta sicurezza.

This is a wonderful tour. Both stops on this tour were interesting and worth going to. Jenny is an excellent tour guide, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The drive through the Austrian Alps was beautiful.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and experienced. She was well prepared with maps and images to show us while we were traveling. Our driver was excellent as well. He made us feel safe on the autobahn and the vehicle was very comfortable. They modified the tour so that we could experience Schloss Altstaetter, as we had just seen the Mauthausen earlier. And our guide took lots of pictures of us as well.

An amazing tour from start to finish and its not only due to the tour destination which is a must do for all history enthusiasts but because of our tour guide(s) jenny and vladymir . Jenny was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very obliging in sharing her vast knowledge of austrian history and of course the sites of our tours as well. In fact both went above and beyond and shared other attractions and connected us to other events of note happening in and around Vienna itself. Her photos she shared of the harrowing events that happened at mauthausen were extremely interesting and at the eagles nest of easy company mortarman bradford freeman returning to eagles nest after so many decades were enlightening to say the least . I cannot recommend this trip enough. Jenny is an amazing guide! On the ride from Vienna to Mauthausen, Jenny provided us with an informative history of Austria. Her knowledge of Mauthausen and its history was amazing. It was such an emotional visit - but something that was such a huge part of world history. Then it was off to the Eagle’s Nest. She provided more historical facts about the region on our ride there. We had a cloudy day - the peak was actually in the clouds. But it was still stunning! We had a nice lunch and plenty of time to walk around and read about its history. On the long ride back to Vienna, Jenny set up a movie for us to watch in the car. A nice touch! Driving was comfortable and water provided. I would do another of Jenny’s tours in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a great, friendly tour - book with Jenny and Cozy Travel! the places are worthwhile to visit. however, I will invert the tour. first the eagle nest and then Maunthausen (more time will need here, this is a personal view). the guide knows, but will be advisable to provide some type of brochure and/or high level summary of what will be visited.

We understand your suggestion of reversing the order of the locations, but due to operational constraints and Mauthausen's early closing time, this isn't feasible. During your tour, a road accident caused us to arrive late at Mauthausen, shortening the visit there.
