La guida spiegherà la mitologia che circonda Troia, il cavallo di Troia e Elena di Troia, oltre a spiegare la storia e le scoperte degli scavi archeologici dalla sua scoperta da parte di Heinrich Schliemann negli anni '70 del XIX secolo fino ai giorni nostri. Sono state scoperte nove città costruite una sull’altra risalenti al 3500 a.C. Vedrai e sentirai parlare anche di: Il cavallo di Troia Elena di Troia. Le guerre di Troia. Altari sacrificali. Le mura della città di 3700 anni. Case di Troia I, 3000 a.C. - 2500 a.C. La battaglia tra Achille e Parigi. Scavi in corso. Resti delle varie città da Troia I fino a Troia IX.
11.30 Ritorno a Canakkale 11.45 Partenza da Canakkale e proseguimento in traghetto per auto Kilitbahir attraverso i Dardanelli. Prima di procedere verso i campi di battaglia è previsto il pranzo al Ristorante. Dopo pranzo il tour si sposta in autobus con aria condizionata e nella zona del campo di battaglia e visite:

Beach Cemetery sulla punta meridionale di ANZAC Cove, il luogo di approdo della prima ondata di ANZAC truppe e ospita fino a 30.000 soldati durante la campagna. John Simpson Kirkpatrick della fama di "Simpson e il suo asino" è sepolto in questo cimitero. Cimitero di Ari Burnu sulla punta settentrionale della baia di ANZAC. The guides knowledge of all our places visited was incredible. From Troy to the battlefields where our Anzacs fought
Tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, he tailored the tour to help us trace our relative. The private bus transfer was also comfortable, which we appreciated as we were travelling from 4 hours away for the tour. We would definitely recommend Hassle Free Travel. The staff were very helpful in booking and we really enjoyed it.

Our tour included hotel pick up in Canakkale and drop off in Istanbul at the end of the day. Fascinating insights into the archeological site of Troy followed by a ferry ride to Eceabat and fabulous lunch. Onwards guided tour of Gallipoli which was incredibly informative.
The guide was very knowledgeable about the sites and the history and provided great insights that would be very difficult to discern from just touring the areas and reading the plaques. Very well organized and efficient.
In ancient Troy it was incredible to see thousands of years of history all in one spot. Gallipoli tour was great and walking through the original Australian and Turkish trenches was incredible. The guide is very good and very knowledgeable about Troy and the Gallipoli battle. I also liked the transfer back to Istanbul.
I had such an eye opening educational experience on the Troy & Gallipoli tour. It ended up being a solo tour because no other visitors were there at the time. I was able to get all of my questions answered by Apo, who is such a knowledgeable and patient Guide. He provided anecdotes about Greek mythology and WWI history to add context to the exhibits. I definitely recommend this combo tour with this particular company and Apo as a Guide for history buffs and folks fascinated by mythology!
Boz (Apo) has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Gallipoli and the WW1 events there. The level of personal detail he introduced at each site heightened our involvement. He gave us a background of Turkey in those days, and its strategic place in the world. This led to the reasons why the campaign was undertaken, and why its repulse was so important to future of Turkey. We had the good fortune of having just the two of us on the tour, and his full attention. He tailored the tour to our background and interests. He explained the effect of the terrain on both sides, and then the driving tour from the ANZAC landing beaches culminating on the heghts of Chunuk Bair highlighted the difficulties for all combatants. We had a working knowledge of events before we visited, but the tour integrated what we knew, and made the history of the campaign come alive. The tour gave us a valuable scale and perspective of the batlles at Gallipoli. We didn't know our driver's name due to language difficulties, but his driving made the long journeys from and to Istanbul very pleasant and comfortable.
Boz was a fascinating, knowledgeable and engaged guide. He went out of his way to meet the wishes of different people and could engage equally with those with a deep knowledge of Gallipoli and the novice. More than one half day tour is essential to understand (from the perspective of both sides) the importance, sacrifice and consequences of these major battles.
Would highly recommend this tour. The tour was very well structured and organised. It suited our needs perfectly and was executed by friendly and knowledgeable guides. The Gallipoli tour was very moving. The onwards transfer to Istanbul was on the same bus as the Gallipoli tour which was great 😀
