Mentre guidi, passerai davanti al Teton Village, sede di alcuni dei migliori (e più intensi) sci in tutto il territorio degli Stati Uniti. Nota : Il tour è lungo oltre 57 miglia, con più di 65 storie audio, e richiede circa 2-3 ore per essere completato. Nuovo, Accesso a vita, nessuna scadenza. Successivamente, attraverserai la Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve, una vasta riserva naturale che ospita alci e altre creature di montagna.
Il primo sentiero che vedrai è il Taggart Lake Trail, un anello di 6 miglia che porta a una coppia di laghi enormi e incontaminati: Taggart Lake e Bradley Lake.
Successivamente, ti fermerai a un'affluenza che offre splendide viste sul ghiacciaio più grande del parco, oltre a scoprire quanto fosse più grande solo 100 anni fa!

Successivamente, passerai Colter Bay, un importante centro di campeggio e un luogo con una sorprendente storia di allevamento.
Il prossimo punto di vista che incontrerai offre viste semplicemente imbattibili del lago Jackson e delle maestose montagne al di là. Questo è un posto da non perdere!
Una deviazione facoltativa ti porta a Cattleman's Bridge, un bel residuo degli allevamenti di bestiame dei primi anni di Jackson.
Più avanti, raggiungerai Snake River Overlook, dove il famoso fotografo Ansel Adams ha catturato una delle foto più famose mai scattate a Tetons.
Un altro punto di vista attende appena più avanti a Teton Point Turnout, offrendo scorci di una geologia davvero strana.
Successivamente, arriverai al Glacier View Turnout, che vanta viste non di uno, non di due, ma di tre enormi ghiacciai!
In questo momento, non sei lontano dal National Elk Refuge. Istituito nel 1912, questo rifugio protegge uno dei più grandi branchi di alci sulla terra!

Lots of great information. Love the gps feature so that it always is telling you information that matches where you physically are located. Most of the tours don’t allow pets. With this tour we could drive our own vehicle with our pet included!

Even though I downloaded it, the program didn’t keep up all the time and skipped a number of stops. Very frustrating.

The app was a little difficult to get started but worked perfectly once we started. The program was downloaded while we had WiFi but we couldn’t get started until we found WiFi again.
