Parti per una gita privata di un giorno al tramonto a Capo Sounion. Il nostro viaggio inizia con un meraviglioso viaggio lungo il fiume Atene. Durante questo rilassante giro godrai di splendide viste sul Golfo Saronico mentre attraversi alcuni dei sobborghi più belli di Atene, tra cui Glyfada, Vouliagmeni e Varkiza. Arrivando al Capo Sounion, visiterete il V secolo a.C. Tempio di Poseidone con la sua magnifica vista panoramica sul Mar Egeo (in una giornata limpida si possono vedere diverse isole). Capo Sounion ha giocato a lungo un ruolo importante nella mitologia e nella storia greca, e la prima menzione registrata di esso si verifica nell'Odissea, come ultimo sbarco sicuro prima che Poseidone disperdesse la marina greca di ritorno. Come dio del mare, Poseidone era molto importante per gli antichi greci, e la scala del Tempio di Capo Sounion riflette questo. George was an excellent guide. So polite and courteous and full of knowledge. We had some great discussions. The views along the water were spectacular and he took us to a wonderful restaurant for seafood. The Temple of Poseidon didn’t disappoint especially with the sunset view. Would recommend this tour!!

George was a wonderful guide. While it was a group tour, only my daughter and I had signed up. George was so polite, informative, and courteous. Had a wonderful meal at a restaurant he suggested. Beautiful drive along the coast and sunset was spectacular at the Temple of Poseidon.

Wonderful excursion from start to finish, very pleasant cool wise guide George, lovely. Nice excursion Cape Sounion, beautiful sunset at the temple of Poseidon, recommended! The booking through viator got a bit muddled but I was able to work directly with the tour group via chat to confirm the pickup location and time. The driver, Mr George, was very engaging, very nice, and very accommodating as we only had 2 groups in our tour. He also shared a lot of interesting information not only about the historic sights we visited but also about modern Greek culture. It was a great way to spend our evening.

What a fantastic evening we had with George! He was incredibly knowledgeable of all things Athens and Greece and truly enhanced what was already a spectacular evening. The drive up the coast to Poseidon's Temple at sunset were both spectacular and the dinner stop was delicious! The ice cream at Waffle House on the way bak was truly icing on the cake. One final but very important point is that George was incredibly kind, thoughtful and supportive of my father and his mobility issues. If you have only one evening in Athens I highly recommend this tour (and if you are lucky George as your guide) as a must do!

This was truly one of the best tours we have ever taken. The scenery was spectacular. Our driver (Theo) attended to all our needs (coffee, lunch, restrooms) to create a very relaxing and memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour if you want a relaxing day with gorgeous scenery.
