Questo tour di 2,5 ore si svolge ogni venerdì mattina e ti offre l'opportunità di approfondire la storia di uno dei periodi più devastanti dell'era moderna. Ti unirai a un gruppo esistente per esplorare il Museo di Storia dell'Olocausto guidato da una delle guide professionalmente formate di Yad Vashem. Entrando in ogni galleria, ascolterai le storie dietro centinaia di oggetti esposti mentre visiti uno dei siti turistici più popolari di Gerusalemme. Alcune delle mostre indimenticabili che incontrerai includono l'Album di Auschwitz, Schindler's List e la monumentale Sala dei Nomi.

Mentre la guida ti conduce lungo il percorso, potrai accedere al museo della storia dell'Olocausto, progettato dall'architetto di fama mondiale Moshe Safdie. La struttura triangolare simile a un prisma penetra la montagna da un lato all'altro, con entrambe le estremità che terminano nell'aria aperta in maniera spettacolare. La guida ti porterà poi attraverso nove diverse gallerie, ognuna raffigurante un diverso "capitolo" negli annali della storia dell'Olocausto. Vedrai locandine autentiche, articoli di propaganda e giochi da tavolo antisemiti che forniscono il contesto per l'evoluzione della Germania nazista durante gli anni Trenta del Novecento. Sul "Leszno Street", potrai passeggiare sui sampietrini di una strada del Ghetto di Varsavia ricostruita. Altre attrazioni includono l'album di Auschwitz originale, un album di foto che rappresenta l'unica testimonianza visiva superstite del processo che ha condotto al genocidio presso Auschwitz-Birkenau, e una copia della "Lista di Schindler". Alla fine del museo c'è la monumentale Sala dei nomi. Entrando nella sala circolare, puoi osservare il soffitto a cupola su cui vengono mostrate le foto di 600 uomini, donne e bambini. Guardando verso il basso, vedrai le fotografie riflesse in una piscina di acqua scavata nel profondo della roccia. Al termine del tour, potrai esplorare il resto dell'ampio territorio del Yad Vashem e il suo campus a tuo ritmo.

It's a nice experience that teaches us about tolerance and history. Might be a bit tough for kids, but we went as a family with two young teenagers who understood what the museum is about. It's a heavy atmosphere, but totally worth it. Spent around 3 hours
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a historical perspective over a wide range of topics throughout the tour. I would have given 5 stars were the tour over an extended period of time. Not the fault of the tour guide, rather it was a Friday, and the Museum was closing at 12:30pm and there was zero time to spend in the gift shop.
An impressive experience, moving photos, ye laso my instagram, there are many fabimaranon, the building is spectacular, it smiles, modern and excellent, the audio guides look at my photos
It is a foolproof experience, to learn the story of this horrible stage of humanity that was lived with Nazism, and to say NEVER AGAIN
Well-kept and organized museum, surely the visit is mandatory for those who have a few more days in Jerusalem.
This was apart of our tour would of preferred not to go as we have been to auschwitz Germany. It pretty graphic and you can see clearly how horrible it was - it brought tears to my eyes the whole way through. You will need at least hour just to briefly go through the museum
This museum is excellent. It is an absolute must see. It was so sad and moving. There was so much information. It would take several days to be able to adequately see everything.
My wife and I have been to Yad Vashem twice. Both times were difficult as this might be the most moving experience I have ever had. As a child no one spoke about the Holocaust. It was never taught about it in religious school. I'm guessing the tragedy was something Jews wanted to forget about rather than remember. I never questioned why my grandfather had no relatives in this country not knowing his entire family had been killed in the camps. Today in many large cities we have memorials and museums to remember the victims. Not surprising the one in Israel is the largest as well as the most complete. Every person who visits Israel should go regardless of their religion. In that way by remembering the past hopefully in will never happen again in the future.
I think every person should visit there, hear about history, understand the unperceived reality that was and look at the present in a different way.
every peaple in this world need to be there ! so pain , lot of crying , how can it’s happen! never again !!!
