Great walk through a beautiful neighborhood. Our guide Lesley was very knowledgeable about the area, and she kept the group engaged, and in the shade!
Libby was great! So knowledgeable and passionate about new orleans. Great mix of stories and history. We took a few tours in NOLA and this was one of the best!
Booked this tour on a whim last minute as I had an unexpected free afternoon and I’m glad I did. The small group tour was lead by Erin, who was wonderful. She was a wealth of knowledge of the area, from the history to the architecture. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the garden district.
Thank you so much for this fantastic review! Erin has a deep love for the Garden District, and she’s super smart and a great storyteller. I’m so happy that you decided to come uptown and explore this beautiful neighborhood with us. Please come again! Libby
We were able to learn so much about the history of the garden district from someone local! It was fantastic.
Thank you so much! We are indeed passionate locals who love to tell the stories of the beautiful neighborhoods of New Orleans. While the architecture of the neighborhood is the primary feature of the Garden District, it’s the history and the stories behind the houses that make it even more impressive. We are so happy that you made the trip uptown to walk with us. Please come again! Libby
Wonderful walking tour! Libby from Lucky Bean Tours was a very knowledgeable, fun and spirited tour guide. and made the tour an enlightened experience, New Orleans is built on a wealth of history not just in the French Quarter but in the Garden District as well.
Thank you for this fantastic review! I really love showing people around the amazing and diverse neighborhoods of New Orleans, and I agree with you that every visitor should visit the Garden District because it shows an entirely different aspect of our city than the more famous downtown areas. Please come again! Libby

Thank you! It is our privilege to show people the lovely sites of this fantastic neighborhood and to tell the stories behind the impressive mansions. I’m so happy that you plan to take another tour with us, because we welcome the opportunity to show you around. See you next time! Libby
Excellent tour. Libby has extensive knowledge about any aspect of the Garden District that you can ask her. A multi-generation true NOLA local, her knowledge of the City and Garden District comes from her lived experience, not just books. While appreciating the beauty of each home, she shares the history (and gossip) that brings it to life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour. A+++++++
Wow, thank you so much! We appreciate the review, the recommendation, and the super high marks! We do love sharing our knowledge of this lovely neighborhood. We do study a lot, but we’ve all lived it, and we are careful to choose the stories that give our guests the truest understanding of the culture of this fascinating place. I hope that you return to New Orleans and walk with us another day. Libby

Thank you so much! As you know, we really appreciate great reviews. It means so much to us when our guests praise our tours, and it brings us even more people to share our love for the city with. I hope you had a great trip, and I hope you come and walk with me some other time. Libby
Libby, our guide, was fantastic! She had great positive energy and shared history and stories about New Orleans, that neighborhood, and the houses themselves. The two hours passed quickly! I highly recommend this company for a garden district tour-or any tour they do-absolutely worth it!
Thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to review our tour. We love showing people the city and we always hope that what they learn on our walking tours helps them appreciate New Orleans! even more. The Garden District is obviously lovely, but we feel it’s even more meaningful when the stories behind the houses are shared with visitors. Please come again! I will walk you around the French Quarter next time. Libby
