In questo tour, ti godrai la natura giapponese tra cui animali e paesaggi ai piedi del Monte. Arashiyama che si trova sul lato ovest di Kyoto e famoso per la sua bellezza paesaggistica. Un tempo questo quartiere era aperto solo ai nobili. Situato non lontano dal centro di Kyoto, questo ambiente naturale è stato mantenuto molto bene fino ai giorni nostri. Ecco perché puoi interagire molto attentamente con le scimmie selvatiche. Nel pomeriggio visiterai il Padiglione d'oro (Tempio Kinkaku-ji), uno dei templi Zen più famosi del Giappone che non dimenticherai per il resto della tua vita.

A 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Saga Arashiyama, raggiungerai un paradiso di macachi giapponesi selvaggi dopo aver scalato un sentiero di montagna leggermente ripido. Ci sono circa 120 scimmie selvagge ma amichevoli tra cui simpatiche scimmie che vivono in questa zona. Puoi vederli giocare da vicino e dar loro da mangiare in un'area di riposo chiusa. Inoltre, è possibile godere di una vista panoramica di tutta la città di Kyoto da un'altitudine di circa 190 metri. Ingresso: adulti 550 yen. Bambini (dai 4 ai 15 anni) 250 yen. (Da agosto 2019)
Arashiyama è una delle località più famose del Giappone e un tempo era vietata a tutti tranne agli aristocratici. A loro piaceva andare in barca, guardare il paesaggio e la luna riflessa nel fiume e comporre poesie giapponesi su tanka. Il ponte elegantemente curvo è stato elogiato dai nobili tra cui l'imperatore per la sua bellezza. Il tuo cuore sarà guarito da questo scenario pieno di natura.
Questo parco ricco di natura si trova sull'altro lato di Arashiyama. Dall'osservatorio del parco si può godere della spettacolare vista delle ripide scogliere e del fiume che scorre sul fondo della valle.
Faremo una passeggiata nel famoso Bamboo Grove con la sua incredibile bellezza e serenità. I pilastri di bambù verde altissimi che frusciano dolcemente nel vento sono uno spettacolo impressionante.
Questo venerato tempio fu costruito dallo shogun nel 1339 per placare lo spirito del defunto imperatore ed è registrato come patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Il suo giardino è uno dei più famosi giardini giapponesi con a magnifico paesaggio con Arashiyama come sfondo. La quota di ammissione è di 500 yen.
Il tempio Kinkaku-ji è molto noto come una delle principali attrazioni turistiche del Giappone e alcuni potrebbero notare che il biglietto d'ingresso appare in una scena del film "Bohemian Rhapsody". Il riflesso del Padiglione d'oro nel laghetto con alberi di pino ben rifiniti e pietre preziose intorno è davvero qualcosa che ricorda la terra pura del Buddha. La quota di ammissione è di 400 yen.

Great day, saw many interesting places, and heard interesting stories about each of the locations. One of my favorite surprises was stopping at a sushi restaurant where the locals in Kyoto eat. Sampling some fun desserts, and a couple of surprises along the way made for a great day. He shared so much history and information- very prepared. Grade A+

My partner and I stayed in Kyoto for a few days and this was a great tour to experience many of the places that we wanted to visit in the small time that we had. We thought there would be more people on this tour but it happened to just be my partner and myself which was great and made the experience more intimate. Our tour guide was Koichi and he was fantastic!!! Koichi was very professional and highly knowledgeable about all the locations we visited and he had a great sense of humour as well. As tourists we often explore places admiring its beauty without knowing the meaning behind them, however this tour allowed us to learn about the histories and significance behind each as well as so many interesting facts about the nature, buildings etc. which made it more meaningful. Koichi went out of his way to make the tour enjoyable for us - he took wonderful photographs of us and even took us to a few additional locations that weren’t included in the tour such as Nishiki Market, where he recommended many different foods / restaurants for us to try and we also tasted his favourite dessert which was delicious! He also took us to the different districts to see some Maiko. Thank you Koichi san for a wonderful day! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto :)
