Itinerario
Iniziamo alla Customs House dove vedrai un modello in scala di tutta Sydney e dove cammineremo (circa 4 km / 2,5 miglia). Imparerai anche alcuni nomi di luoghi aborigeni per parti di Sydney ed esplorerai il nuovo distretto immediatamente dietro Customs House.
Passiamo davanti al "Rum Hospital", che ora è composto dal Parlamento del NSW, dal Sydney Hospital e dal Mint.
Ci fermeremo fuori da Hyde Park Barracks mentre ascolti la storia della sua costruzione e del famigerato architetto. Non entriamo in Caserma.
Entreremo brevemente nei Giardini Botanici Reali per vedere la posizione dell'ex Garden Palace e della Fontana del Governatore Phillip.
Entreremo brevemente nel Queen Victoria Building, ma principalmente solo per vederlo e per consentire agli eventuali ospiti di utilizzare i bagni.
Ci fermiamo ad Hyde Park, dove avrai una splendida vista della Cattedrale di St Mary. Non entriamo nella cattedrale né saliamo vicino ad essa (a circa 50 metri dall'edificio).
Ci fermeremo a Martin Place e Pitt St per guardare l'ufficio postale generale e ascoltare la storia della sua controversa costruzione e progettazione.
Ci fermeremo a Martin Place per conoscere l'ANZAC Cenotaph e il coinvolgimento dell'Australia nella prima guerra mondiale.
Attraverseremo parte di The Rocks verso la fine del tour, visitando Nurses Walk, Jack Mundey Place e George St.
Vedremo l'Opera House da dove finiamo il tour e a Campbell's Cove. Non entriamo nel Teatro dell'Opera ma ascolterai la storia della sua costruzione.
Vedremo il Sydney Harbour Bridge da dove termina il tour. Non saliamo sul ponte come parte del tour, ma è a pochi passi dal punto finale.

Excellent experience with the team from Local Sauce. I was the only one signed up for the tour and they kindly don't cancel for a solo traveler (though Justin did reach out ahead of time to see if I wanted to keep the tour as is, flex the date, or join a different experience). Steve was a great tour guide and I truly enjoyed our conversation. I learned a lot about the founding and early history of Sydney, life today, and learned some new dad jokes to take home with me.

Steve was the best guide! He shared the history of Australia as we toured the city. The tour had the right balance of old and new areas of the city. Steve was knowledgeable and funny. He gave great advice on other things to see and do after the tour.
We had an amazing morning touring Sydney with Steve. We were lucky to have a private tour, amazing weather and it was just perfect. Steve's knowledge of Sydney is impressive, he's very engaging and easy to listen to and he covered all the highlights of the downtown Sydney area as well as recommending other parts of the city we could explore. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you're visiting Sydney for the first time.
Has an awesome tour with Matt, very educational and fun, it was the first thing I did in Sydney and would highly recommend it! He went over the history from the Gadigal people, the British colonization, and the modern multicultural movement, really interesting!

Matt was a fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable in the local history and was also very personable. I highly recommend this tour for a good time in the city.
I happened to be the only person on the tour, but it was an informative tour. Justin was my guide, and he did a wonderful job! He provided a lot of historical information about Sydney and the founding of Australia. We covered a lot of the city, and I enjoyed learning about the different parts we visited. I would recommend this tour!
