Annabelle’s tour was lively and theatrical. She clearly enjoys her work and had a lot of fun showing us around - like the fun aunt who knows all the cool facts. I learned so much - 1759, I will never forget. We also appreciated her perspective on the Indigenous/ French/ English relationships which she handled gently. The small group tours are the best! Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful walking tour with Carmen! She was both informative and entertaining. She is a history teacher and clearly loves talking about the history of Canada, Quebec, and Quebec City. She was happy to answer questions and give her own opinions. The two hours went by quickly and I would certainly recommend both this tour and Carmen to anyone visiting Quebec City.
We toured with Robert on a beautiful sunny day in June. He is a wealth of knowledge and very energetic, and told us the history of Quebec before we walked to many historical buildings and sights. The tour was a full 2 1/2 hours, so be sure to wear good shoes, use the bathroom first, and don't be hungry when you start out. There is no time to use a rest room or grab a snack.
Our tour guide, who is a history teacher of 3 decades, was phenomenal! She was electric and dynamic. She clearly loved her role, and she took full ownership of the information she imparted. Very engaging and kind! I would strongly encourage this for anyone visiting Quebec!
Jim is an excellent tour guide. Great local insights from living here all his life. Hit all the key spots.
Liked: saw a lot of different parts of the old town, with their stories and things you would never find on your own. Saw both the upper and lower town, whixh was great. Guide was friendly and looked out for our safety. Not so good: tour focused a lot around religion, which isn't very interesting to me. The talk was rather rambling and vague so not very engaging.
Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We're glad you enjoyed exploring both Upper and Lower Town and discovering places and stories you might not have found on your own. We also appreciate your comments regarding the tour content. Québec's religious heritage plays an important role in understanding the city's history, but we understand that different visitors have different interests. Your feedback about the pacing and focus has been noted and will help us continue improving the experience. We hope you still left with some great memories of Québec City. 😊
Excellent walking tour. Very knowledgeable guide (Mark). Highly recommended. Worth the time and money.
This tour is a great way to learn about the history of Quebec as well as get acclimated to the city. I recommend doing it the first day because it sets you up to thoroughly enjoy the rest of your visit. Our guide, Helene was knowledgeable and pleasant. It was two hours very well spent.
Tour was excellent. Robert knew a lot of history and shared it in an interesting manner. All keys sights were included and length of tour was appropriate
Louise was awesome. Such a knowledge of historical information, cultural significance weaved into story and presentation. Even our teenagers very much enjoyed this tour. Highly recommend Louise!!! Was a great way to begin our vacation and learn so much about this fantastic city. Thank you Louise for such a great tour.
