Serafina provided an exceptional tour of Lucerne and we learned much from her historical expertise. Highly recommend this tour.
The tour guide was so very poor, the group was glad to have it end. The tour was listed as 2 hours and she had us 1 hour and 15 minutes. She did not speak so we could hear, she was uninterested and couldn't care less about imparting information, very unprofessional. It was a delight to part from her!!! Such an opposite from reviews I'd read online convincing me to sign up for the tour.

The tour guide was not very professional. She spoke very quiet so the group had trouble hearing and did not make sure everyone was caught up before talking. She was very unfamiliar with the sites she was showing. People were asking questions about the sites and she did not know about them. For example when asked about site she said it was built by men a very long time ago instead of saying she did not know. Also she tried to shorten the tour from 2 hours to 1.5 hours skipping musegg wall that was supposed to be included. When we showed her what was supposed to be included she did wind up showing us this site. In the past we have enjoyed the high quality tours from Viator but this was a real disappointment.

We loved our guide. She was very knowledgeable and charming. We had a great time. Even with the rain downpour at the end of the tour!
This tour was horrendous. The tour guide didn’t know much about anything. She was walking in front of us without interaction unless we were asking questions. She didn’t know about anything. No name of churches, no historical info. She was just advertising shopping places. The tour was supposed to last 2 hrs and finish at the starting point, but after 1 hr and 20 minutes right outside a church she told us the tour was over. I want a refund!!!!

Our tour today with Sarafina was absolutely fantastic. She was so sweet and informative and gave us a great perspective of Lucern. The history was amazing and we got to see parts of the city that we otherwise wouldn’t have found. 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone interested. Our group was intimately sized and Sarafina took some great pictures (which is greatly appreciated when traveling as a couple - so we don’t just have selfies).
It was okay- we toured city highlights, but no “hidden gems.” Could have done this on are own pretty easily.

Serafina was an excellent tour guide. Friendly, knowledgeable , and engaging. Highly recommend this tour
We've been on many excellent Viator tours and find it unusual that we had a guide who was unsatisfactory, I think this was the first time. I can't give you the guide's name as we couldn't hear/understand it. However, she was somewhat introverted. We had difficulty finding her at the contact point because didn't wear or carry anything distinctive, and did nothing to appear as having the attention of the group or being the leader of the group. As the tour continued she had some prepared notes but said very little compared to most other guides. She also tended to turn and start talking before the entire group had caught up. The content of the tour itself was fine , but we could hardly hear much of her commentary. That said, our past experience has been good and we would not hesitate to book another tour run by Viator.
I have been on several walking tours in different cities in Europe, and this one was the best one by far. The credit goes to our wonderful guide Gulizebo (aka Serafina). She was wonderful, friendly and very knowledgeable about local history, and she kept us entertained with informative stories about the sights and attractions.
