Guangzhou è una città vivace con un'antica area che preserva la cultura tradizionale cantonese, questo tour a piedi di 3,5 ore ti consentirà di esplorare a piedi l'antica area di Xiguan per immergerti nella vita locale con la nostra guida locale e apprendere il background e la storia dalla tua guida locale . Vedrai la baia di Lychee, la vecchia casa di Xiguan, il parco Liwanhu, Yong Qing Fang, la strada pedonale Shangxiajiu e l'isola di Shamian dove si conclude il viaggio. Inoltre, assaggerai uno spuntino locale in un ristorante locale. L'incontro è fuori, uscita A, stazione Zhongshanba sulla linea 5 della metropolitana. Hotel in posizione centrale a Guangzhou (i quartieri di Liwan, Yuexiu, Tianhe, Haizhu sono zona centrale) il ritiro è una scelta facoltativa (il trasferimento non è incluso). Ci sono due partenze al giorno alle 9:00 e alle 14:00.

Itinerario
Alle 9:00 o alle 14:00, incontra la guida fuori dall'uscita A, stazione Zhongshanba, linea 5 della metropolitana con la tua targhetta. Quindi inizierai il tuo tour a piedi con la tua guida al Tempio Renwen, un tipico tempio taoista. Successivamente visiterai il Parco Liwanhu dove la gente locale balla, canta e gioca. Lychee Bay è un luogo in cui si trovano le antiche case Xiguan ben conservate che un tempo erano la casa dei ricchi. Camminando lungo Duobao Road e En'ning Road, rimarrai stupito dalla vita locale, dal mercato affollato, dai vecchi negozi e dalle strade degli snack, ecc. Che sono uno specchio per riflettere il tradizionale stile di vita cantonese. Inoltre, assaggerai uno spuntino locale in un ristorante locale. Visiterai anche il famoso Yong Qing Fang e il Museo dell'Opera di Canton (chiuso il lunedì) con la tua guida. Poi ti dirigerai verso la strada pedonale Shangxiajiu prima di trasferirti sull'isola di Shamian, un bel posto con vecchie case vicino al fiume Pearl. Al termine del tour, la guida ti aiuterà a prendere un taxi o la metropolitana per tornare al tuo hotel.

It was easy to find the guide in front of the metro station exit, even though the company didn't provide any information how I and guide meet. She (mango) guided and explained traditional temple, lake park, old traditional houses well. The guide was fantastic and it worth to explore the city which is not familiar with her. She speaks english well with precise word selection. The pick-up service was included. It said the guests in hotels of the central area would get pick-up service, but the firm didn't check it in advance. The last 20 min walk from the old houses to the island was a bit hard for me, so it would be better to find the way to take a short ride of bus or metro.
My guide was a very nice young lady, who tried hard but her english conversational skills were not fantastic so while she was knowledgeable, I really struggled to understand her at times. I did wonder if she was a novice guide. The meeting place is not obvious - its exit A from the metro. I had to every exit to look for my guide. I tried to contact customer services at the time but they did not respond. Guangzhou Old Town is very pretty and definitely worth a visit. My highlight was popping into the Cantonese Opera Museum to look at the singers costumes as well as listening to them perform.

We understand that metro stations can be confusing, and we’re sorry you had to search, but we want to assure future guests that the meeting point is clearly communicated in writing. We truly appreciate your visit and hope that despite the initial confusion, you left with fond memories of Xiguan.

Guide is a university student and she understands the history well. Walking tour includes GZ (Luwan district) old town. Starts 9 am , ends 12 pm

A fantastic trip . We had a great time with Sunny. She was a great tour guide. She’s patience, knowledgeable , funny , kind and answered all our dumb questions . Had a great 3 hours walking tour with our guide Stoney who brought us to see different places such as 荔枝湾 (Lychee Bay), 永庆坊 (Yongqingfang) and 沙面岛 (Shamiandao island) while sharing the history and interesting facts of each place which was truly insightful experience for us as we had a more in depth understanding of Guangzhou now. This is our first visit to Guangzhou and I’m glad that we had a tour guide to bring us around and sharing with us some stories which will enrich our memories and experience of the places we have visited together. Thank you to Stoney for treating us to the desserts and being ever so patient with us when we have so many questions to ask about each place we visited.

The experience was great, it allowed me to explore the beauty of Guangzhou on a solo layover of just a few hours. Mango speaks really great English and was very friendly and kind. She showed me a taste of authentic local life which is rare to find in organised tours. She also allowed me to use her hotspot and waited with me until my didi pickup arrived.
