Itinerario

Andrew was an incredibly attentive guide who went the extra mile to share insights about the diverse wildlife we encountered along the hike. His genuine passion for the environment made the entire experience both engaging and enjoyable. Although our trip was postponed by a day due to less-than-ideal weather, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The rescheduled day offered much better conditions, and we truly appreciated the flexibility to adjust our plans. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade lunch, which we enjoyed at the stunning Wineglass Bay—an unforgettable setting. We even had time for a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters before taking a scenic water taxi ride to visit a seal colony, rounding off the day perfectly. Overall, it was a well-organised and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Tasmania’s natural beauty in a unique and personal way!
Hi Kenneth! The photos from your trip were incredible. What a stunning day you had! Andrew is a wonderful local guide full of lots of fun facts and local knowledge. I'm glad you enjoyed your time and thanks for leaving a review!
Many thanks to Andrew for a great day exploring Freycinet National Park. He catered for the group’s pace, was relaxed, friendly and very informative about the Park, wildlife & Tassie in general. Wineglass Bay was as stunning as all the photos & we really enjoyed lunch on the beach before heading over to Hazard’s Beach to catch the boat back, stopping off to watch the seals chilling on the island. We got so much more out of our visit to Freycinet by doing this tour rather than just following the crowd. Many thanks also to Sara for her first class communication and organisation skills. Great trip - 100% recommend.
Thankyou so much for your review! It's great to know you had a great day out at Freycinet with Andrew. We just love sharing our gorgeous backyard with visitors! It's an absolute privilege! Thanks for sharing a review.
What a magnificent day. Andrew, our guide was very well-informed, professional & a fun guy to boot. The other couple on the walk were great company & the weather was perfect for this mind-blowing hike in Freycinet National Park. And the trip back to our accommodations on the Aqua Express was a mini tour bonus. Great package all round, with a tasty lunch on the rocks above Hourglass Bay. We even spotted a dolphin swimming in the bay just as we were about to cross the Isthmus across to Hazards Beach. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Many thanks Sara for making it all come together.
You're so welcome Kathryn! It was a delight to meet you. What an absolutely stunning day we had out there! So lucky. Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review. We really appreciate it. Enjoy Tassie travels! Cheers, Sara
This was a glorious way to spend time in what has to be one of the most beautiful parts of Tasmania, if not the world. My guide was Andrew and he was superb. Lots of local knowledge and a knowledge and understanding of the natural environment. I do not think I will ever forget my lunch in Wineglass bay, sat on the rocks with two dolphins playing in the sea. It was absolutely marvellous. I would highly recommend this tour.
We're biased but we agree that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world! Thanks for your review Elaine. Dolphins whilst having lunch at Wineglass Bay- does it get any better?!
We had a wonderful hike up to wine glass bay lookout and down to the beach Sara was informative and fun and knew the area well She was also aware of the abilities of the group and made sure everyone had a good time The boat at the end was a charming finish Would thoroughly recommend
Thanks for your review! We agree that the boat journey is a great addition to the experience. Appreciate your time in sharing!
We loved our day walking in Freycinet National Park with our guide Andrew. He was relaxed, friendly and so informative about the area. The views were amazing, the beaches were gorgeous and we loved the boat trip back, seeing seals and even a white bellied eagle. It’s was a day I’ll remember for a long time and well worth doing with a guide.
Thanks Alison! Great photos. What a stunning day you had! Appreciate you taking the time to leave a review of your experience with us. Cheers!
After many visits to Tassie we finally got to do the Freycinet Walking Tour. The Freycinet peninsula is like something out of a movie - just a stunning setting. The walking tour was a wonderful way to experience a small part of this amazing landscape. Our guide Annie was super helpful and knowledgable about its history and features. Put this one on your list of must do side trips.
Thanks for your review Philip! So great to hear you had a great day out with Ann with us at Freycinet!
If you’ve had the good sense to make Freycinet in the wonderful state of Tasmania your travel destination, doing this wonderful walking tour should be a no brainer. It provides a fascinating introduction to the park, not too tiring and going through sensational scenery. Our guide (Sophie) provided really interesting insights into the area to put our wider stay in context. Highly recommended.
Thanks so much Paul! Great to hear you had a wonderful time out at Freycinet with us!
What a treat it was to be taken on a walking tour of the beautiful Freycinet National Park, taking in all the beautiful features, including Wineglass Bay. The tour was personal, insightful and full all the small things you would miss if you did the walk unguided. We really enjoyed the walking tour, as a family it was a great experience. The drinks and food, along with the locations were all brilliant. To top it all off, the boat ride back to the Freycient Lodge was an unforgettable experience, to be able to see the fantastic views from a different perspective. A well worth tour to do when in Freycient National park.
Such a great review James! Thankyou so much for taking the time. Much appreciated!
Great day out. Walking and swimming both at Wineglass Bay and Hazard Bsy was fantastic. Organisation was really professional and our friendly and knowledgeable guide really brought the experience to life. Tea and packed lunch were also great. Boat transport back is really wonderful and a fitting end to a great day. Would heartily recommend.
