Fabio was fun and energetic with lots of information about the wine windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The tour is a leisurely walk around the city with information about all the wine windows and their history.
Saw so much of the city of Florence and learned so much about it! We had an olive oil tasting and a glass of wine. Got lots of recommendations for restaurants to try, neighborhoods and markets to explore, with little lessons on Italian phrases sprinkled throughout. It was an excellent introduction to the city on my first day here, definitely recommend!
We could not find the meeting point they changed meeting point and it was hard to find so we missed our tour. We asked for our money back and they declined. Not very happy with outcome.
Dear Guest, We’re very sorry to hear that you missed the tour and understand how frustrating this must have been. Please note that the correct meeting point details are always indicated on the voucher. Our team is also available by phone for real-time assistance, should you need help locating the meeting point. Thank you for your feedback. Kindest regards, Towns of Italy Customer Care
What a fun tour. We had Gia ad our guide and she was so friendly and knowledgeable. It was just the two of us on tour this particular time so we got to ask all our questions! Wine and food was great. Highly recommend!
Greta was a very knowledgeable tour guide. You take a leisurely stroll through some of the less well known streets of Florence whilst hearing the history of the medici family, the wine windows and getting to sample authentic extra virgin olive oil from an expert maker as well as the wine window experience.
The meeting location is not clear, we took pictures and videos to dispute with cc company bc we could not find it. Tried to contact them and they said we were late, so the tour left. We were not late and have video to prove it. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to this. We saw the tour group at one of the windows and said we are supposed to be on this tour, the guide was rude and would not let us join in .. even tough people in the tour said it was the correct one.
Dear Guest, We’re truly sorry to read about your experience and understand how disappointing this situation must have been. As stated in our policy, for shared group tours we can only wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the scheduled departure time — after that, for logistical and safety reasons, it’s unfortunately not possible to join the tour once it has started. We’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future, so that you can fully enjoy the authentic experiences we’re passionate about creating here in Italy. Warm regards, TownsofItaly Customer Care
Marta shared good info and it was a great evening for a walk. Loved the history and our reward was a glass of wine! Would recommend.
Our tour guide, Lorenzo, was great. Really appreciated his knowledge. Such a fun and unique experience! Loved it!!
Wonderful. Tour. Guide was excellent. Meeting site was a little confusing since the tour of Italy kiosk was not labeled
We had a great time on the tour! Tommy had tons of knowledge, not only on the stops along the tour but on many other things in between.
