Loggia del Mercato Nuovo (Porcellino) Nel cuore del centro storico, a pochi passi da Ponte Vecchio e Piazza della Signoria, troverete uno dei punti più caratteristici di tutta Firenze, la Loggia del Mercato Nuovo, o Nuovo mercato
Nel centro di Firenze, lungo via Calzaiuoli, sul luogo dove un tempo sorgeva un monastero femminile con terreno adibito ad orto, verso la metà dell’VIII secolo fu edificata una piccola chiesa dedicata a San Michele Arcangelo, detta di San Michele in Orto (da cui “orto di San Michele” e poi “Orsanmichele”).
Via dei Calzolai è una delle vie più eleganti del centro storico di Firenze: lunga 400 metri e fiancheggiata da negozi, collega Piazza del Duomo a Piazza della Signoria
Il Palazzo Medici, chiamato anche Palazzo Medici Riccardi dal nome della famiglia che lo acquistò e lo ampliò in seguito, è un palazzo rinascimentale del XV secolo a Firenze, Italia. Fu costruito per la famiglia Medici, che dominò la politica della Repubblica di Firenze. Ora è la sede dell'amministrazione della Città Metropolitana di Firenze e un museo

Great tour with Emanuela! It was informational, entertaining and a great length.
We had the ultimate luck of other tourist canceling and ended up having me and my husband on an alone tour with an amazing guide. Her knowledge was good and she told us the most interesting things. This was truly an amazing experience today thanks to her 🙌🙏

Our group was small, which was great for a relaxing evening. We had one wine stop, one olive oil stop, and then walked around town with our guide to some of the top areas. We learned about some history and enjoyed everyone company. We didn’t need headsets since it was only 4 of us and the guide, which was great! The wine was delicious, we had some photo stops, and a one of a kind olive oil tasting which we would not have thought to do otherwise.
The tour was enjoyable and the pace was good. However, the tour title gives you the impression that you would stop at more than just one wine window. We expected a couple of wine window visits. Samples would have been fine. Unfortunately, We spent half our tour getting an overview of olive oil production and sampling olive oil.
We would like to kindly point out that the olive oil tasting lasted longer than originally planned due to the unusually large size of the group. In fact, this was the first time we have hosted a group of this size for this experience, and the extended timing was an unforeseen consequence of ensuring that all participants could fully enjoy the tasting. Under normal circumstances, the itinerary includes an olive oil tasting stop of approximately 20 minutes. Throughout the walking tour, guests also have the opportunity to discover several of Florence's historic wine windows (buchette del vino), which are featured along the route and explained by the guide. Maria Christina was a fantastic guide as she walked us around Florence. She has plenty of neat little stories and anecdotes and she moves at an easy pace - key for our 7 year old not getting exhausted. She’s really nice and even took us to her favorite cafe for a quick break. Would happily tour with her again!
