Great tour, a must do when in Amsterdam. Craig the tour guide did a great job. Very interesting and very moving.
I highly recommend this walking tour! Our guide, Iris was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. She shared an incredible amount of information about Anne Frank, her life, her family, and the friends who helped them during such a difficult time. She also explained the historical context of World War II and the persecution of Jewish people in a way that was both informative and respectful. Beyond Anne Frank’s story, she provided fascinating insights into Amsterdam’s history, architecture, and the unique culture of the city. Her explanations about the buildings, canals, and local traditions made the tour even more enriching. She answered every question with enthusiasm and made the entire experience memorable. This was one of the highlights of our visit to Amsterdam, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to gain a deeper understanding of Anne Frank’s story and the city’s rich history.
Amazing experience. Great to see the history we all know. Really humbling and intense experience that showed this horrible time in history.
Wow. Craig was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, flexible, entertaining, and charismatic. We learned so much about Anne Frank and the history of Amsterdam. 10 out of 10
The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. We walked through the city and she explained everything. One suggestion, it would be very nice to include visit to Anne Frank museum at the end.
We had a wonderful Anne Frank tour today. Due to the extreme weather warnings and our small group size, the tour was thoughtfully adapted, which actually made it feel even more personal and engaging. Our guide did an excellent job balancing the story of Anne Frank with the fascinating history of the surrounding neighborhood, providing valuable context that brought everything to life. The mix of historical background and Anne Frank’s story made for a meaningful and memorable experience. Despite the weather, the tour was well organized, informative, and deeply moving. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam who wants a deeper understanding of both Anne Frank’s life and the city’s history.
Iris did a great job. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learned so much. We had a lovely time!
We throughly enjoyed our tour, especially with our amazing tour guide Guilherme. He was passionate, kind, and well informed. He answered all our questions with a smile, offered a wonderful suggestion for lunch, and left us smarter and happier. We really liked Guilherme.
The meeting place was not at all near the Anne Frank House. We missed the tour. I request a refund!! Will not use Viator again!!
The tour took a full 2 hours, as we walked through a significant portion of the old Amsterdam area. Our guide was excellent, answering all our questions and pointing out many small and subtle details of the many homes, businesses, and goings on during the Nazi occupation. Would highly recommend this tour.
