Il monumento, situato vicino al Dry Bridge, raffigura figure vivaci ed espressive in movimento, che simboleggiano lo spirito di libertà e ribellione del festival. Onora le ricche tradizioni culturali della Georgia e il potere duraturo dell'espressione artistica.
L'edificio ecclesiastico più antico di Tbilisi è una basilica a tre navate risalente al VI secolo.
Il Ponte della Pace, di costruzione relativamente recente, è un'attrazione da non perdere a Tbilisi. Un ponte in vetro e acciaio a forma di arco si trova sul fiume Mtkvari (Kura) nella capitale della Georgia.
A Tbilisi, Shardeni Street è una piccola strada pedonale situata nel quartiere di Upper Kala, tra piazza Vakhtang Gorgasali e Sioni Street.
La nostra guida spiegherà perché il teatro Gabriadze è un luogo interessante di Tbilisi. Di fronte al teatro si trova la torre dell'orologio. Puoi riconoscere l'architettura unica del luogo.
Il Complesso di Sioni è costituito da un recinto, dalla Cattedrale dell'Assunta e da due campanili. Sioni deriva dal nome di una montagna sacra a Gerusalemme. È una parola ebraica che significa soleggiato.
La statua di Tamada a Tbilisi è una scultura in bronzo di un tradizionale maestro di toast georgiano, che tiene in mano un corno di vino (kantsi) in un classico gesto di toasting. Situato nel centro storico vicino alla Cattedrale di Sioni, simboleggia la ricca cultura vinicola della Georgia e l'importanza delle tradizioni sovra (festa georgiana). La statua è ispirata a un'antica figurina Tamada trovata a Vani, risalente a oltre 2.000 anni fa, che mostra quanto sia profondamente radicato il ruolo del maestro dei brindisi nella storia georgiana.
Il monumento, creato dall'artista georgiano Elguja Amashukeli, si trova orgogliosamente di fronte alla chiesa di Metekhi e guarda il fiume Mtkvari (kura).
Vedremo come le bandiere dell’UE verranno spazzate via dal vento. La Georgia punta all’UE già da decenni. Il nostro obiettivo è visibile a chiunque visiti Tbilisi.
L'edificio della Grande Sinagoga si trova nel vecchio quartiere storico di Tbilisi. Fu costruito dal 1895 al 1903 da ebrei georgiani di Akhaltsihe.
Un artista di nome David Monavardishvili ha realizzato un bellissimo monumento nel 2016. Possiamo esplorare ciò che è stato per lui fonte di ispirazione. Forse era lo stile di vita di Tbilisi ai vecchi tempi? Il monumento è piuttosto impressionante e scoprirai come l'artista lo ha creato.
Continuiamo il nostro viaggio con una funivia. La cima della montagna è raggiungibile con la funivia, da dove possiamo godere di panorami mozzafiato.
Il parco Rike è il centro di Tbilisi. Da qui prenderemo la funivia per la montagna.
Il monumento alla Madre della Georgia guarda con orgoglio la città. Tutte le donne georgiane sono rappresentate dal monumento.

An awesome walking tour of this gem of a city! Teona was so knowledgable - about both history and modern culture. Her tour was filled with interesting landmarks, a delicious stop at an historic bakery and an epic view of the city.
