Tour a partire da Pile Gate (presso la fontana accanto al ristorante Dubravka) e durante 90 minuti di cammino guidato vedrete piazza centrale a Dubrovnik, la fortezza di San Lorenzo, entrare nella città vecchia o Stari Grad in croato attraverso Pile gate, vedere il vecchio porto , il sito di Walk of Shame dal famoso Game of Thrones, il palazzo del Rettore, la chiesa di San Biagio, il palazzo Sponza e cammina lungo le strade laterali mentre la strada principale Stradun sarà lasciata a te per farla scorrere da sola. La tua guida ti dirà, oltre alla storia, come Dubrovnik è stata colpita dalle riprese di block-blockers nel cuore della città medievale.

L'ingresso principale al centro storico
Il tour inizierà con una breve introduzione, che ti mostrerà le attrazioni fuori dalle mura di Dubrovnik, come il forte Lovrijenac e Bokar prima di entrare in città attraverso la porta di Pile. Subito dopo essere entrato nel centro storico ti verrà presentato lo stile di vita della Republica Ragusa, vedrai la fontana di Onofrio che era la principale fonte di acqua potabile fino all'inizio del XX secolo, scoprirai come i francescani svilupparono la medicina nella più antica farmacia funzionante nel monastero francescano e camminerai lungo strade laterali verso la Cattedrale. La tua guida ti mostrerà anche alcune location delle riprese di Game of Thrones, Robin Hood e Star Wars. Nel porto della Città Vecchia vedrai come la flotta moderna ha preso il sopravvento sulla tradizionale cambusa in legno, ma che continua a navigare. La passeggiata terminerà in piazza Luza dove conoscerete il Palazzo del Rettore, San Biagio e il Palazzo Sponsa. Da qui potete proseguire per conto vostro lungo la strada principale Stradun.

Nel porto della Città Vecchia vedrai come la flotta moderna ha preso il sopravvento sulla tradizionale cambusa in legno, ma che continua a navigare.
La passeggiata terminerà in piazza Luza dove apprenderete del palazzo del Rettore, di San Biagio e del palazzo di Sponsa. Da qui è possibile proseguire lungo la strada principale Stradun da soli.

Were traveling with Dorothea and it was just all great. Their English was very understandable for us (Germans), we got information about the city, Croatia in general and also about the people. Dorotea was a brilliant guide - knowledgeable, funny, engaging interesting who brought the history of this beautiful location to life. I’d have no hesitation in recommending her and this tour to anyone , she was really passionate about the history of her country and Dubrovnik in particular (and it was great to meet a fellow Beatles fan and hope she makes it to Liverpool one day and I could show you round my city 😊)

Dorothea was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and told us the history of Dubrovnik. She was thoughtful and always kept us in the shade if possible which was very important as it was 36 degrees. Dorothea was engaging and had a good sense of humour. We were lucky as there was only our family of 4 on the tour so we were all able to hear and were entertained the whole 2 hours

We arrived early to a very crowded area, No one was present for our tour. Listening device would have been wonderful, very hard to hear the guide.
