Ciao, mi chiamo Richard. Ho vissuto e lavorato a Londra, New York e Hong Kong. Vivo ad Aix ormai da 10 anni , a circa 5 minuti a piedi dal nostro punto di incontro .In un anno più un lungo viaggio intorno al mondo la mia famiglia ha fatto un sacco di tour a piedi. È il modo migliore per conoscere una città e scoprire cosa rende un buon tour a piedi - Piccoli gruppi, in modo da poter sentire e fare domande. Una Guida che conosce i fatti, ma anche le storie, i personaggi, e com’è vivere realmente in città, mangiare nei ristoranti, andare nei bar, non solo leggerlo da un appuntino. Voglio che tu conosca Aix e che tu voglia vivere qui, o almeno tornare a trovarla di nuovo, questo è il bello!

Piazza recentemente restaurata di fronte al Palais de Justice. Sito del distrutto Palais des Comtes, resti di cui sono appena stati esposti sotto vetro nel pavimento!
Aix è la piazza più famosa e ha subito un'affascinante caduta dalla storia del potere alle spalle.

Great way to get the back story of this wonderful city and an understanding if the sources of great wealth and influence over the centuries. Richard is a great source of local knowledge and really understands the Aix-en-Provence scene, take the tour you’ll thoroughly enjoy your time walking the back streets and laneways of this picturesque market town.
We truly enjoyed our tour of Aix with Richard--he is very friendly and knowledgeable and showed us so much in just a few hours. We learned not only about Aix's history and culture but about its exciting high-tech future. It was a fun way to explore a beautiful city. We highly recommend Richard's tour!
We would not know...it was canceled! We thought it was paid for when we booked it months ago, they charged our card the day before and it had expired the day before that. We tried to call several times but no one answered. I am in a wheelchair and there are few tours for that detail, So, we were VERY disappointed. We are looking at moving here and this was less then inspiring.
Richard was an amazing story teller and guide. If you are looking to understand the history behind the beautiful city of AIX, he is your man. He took us through a walk of Aix along with an explanation of how and when many of the Places (plazas) came to be, when they were developed, and who was in power all the way back to the roman days (BC). He was a Friendly and interesting guy!
What a great tour. A lot of depth to a great and beautiful city. We got historical and contemporary perspective from someone who clearly loves Aix. And got a great restaurant recommendation. Highly recommend.

This is a must do in Aix! We only had 2 days to visit and Richard’s tour was absolutely incredible. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and the perfect tour guide. In 2 hours we felt like we had seen most of what there was to see and it gave us some great tips to use in our time exploring alone.
Loved Richard's tour. He is very likeable, interesting, and knowledgeable. The tour was relaxed, informative and fun. The walking pace is leisurely. The distance we covered was about 3,000 steps. The 2 hours passed quickly. I took the tour the day before leaving Aix. I would have appreciated the city even more than I did, which was alot, had I taken the tour at the beginning of my stay. The tour connects you to the heart beat of the city. I highly recommend booking Richard's tour in advance of your arrival to Aix to ensure there is a spot waiting for u. Hope you enjoy your time as much as I did.
