Esplora il centro culturale di Budapest con me! Se sei interessato a storia, cibo di strada, uscite o arte di strada a Budapest, puoi trovare tutto in un posto, nel quartiere ebraico. Durante il nostro tour scopriamo le profondità e le ricchezze del patrimonio ebraico in città. Passando alla storia ebraica, ti mostrerò i tesori ebraici nascosti del quartiere con 3 sinagoghe. Daremo uno sguardo ai murales, che rendono il quartiere ebraico una vera galleria all'aperto; i ristoranti kosher e, ultimo ma non meno importante, ti inviterò nei pub e nei centri culturali più autentici in rovina locali, che sono i migliori punti di incontro per gente del posto e festaioli. Tieni presente che le sinagoghe che visitiamo durante il tour sono luoghi religiosi funzionanti. Venerdì pomeriggio, sabato intero e festivi ebraici sono chiusi.

Itinerario
La prima sinagoga che vedremo è in Rumbach Street, l'edificio è chiuso da una visita interna, ma è bellissimo con una storia interessante.
La seconda sinagoga non è altra, ma la più grande europea in Dohány Street. Visiteremo l'intero complesso, tra cui il Museo ebraico ungherese e il giardino commemorativo di Raoul Wallenberg con il monumento dell'albero della vita.
Dopo aver lasciato il complesso, ci dirigeremo alla scoperta del lato bohémien del quartiere ebraico con la visita interna di un famoso bar in rovina, il giardino Szimpla.
L'ultima sinagoga del nostro triangolo è la sinagoga ortodossa di Kazinczy Street, un tesoro art nouveau molto speciale, entreremo anche all'interno dell'edificio.
L'ultima parte che vedremo è l'elegante Corte di Gozsdu con meravigliosi ristoranti e luoghi di festa.

Emi was a wonderful tour guide. And this part of the city is so different from the opera house area even though they’re close by each other. It was very powerful to go into the synagogue and hear the history of the Hungarian Jews.

With Petra, you have a young person speaking her mind, and that’s what makes a great guide in a dynamic and evolving city. I can strap on a headset if all I want are facts and figures about this building or that date. But we like to go deeper into the history and current events which made for great insight from someone as open and honest as Petra. Sure, she knew all the facts and dates too, but the opinions on communism, international relationships and the current Hungarian government really added spice to the time together.
