È una delle piazze più grandi della Spagna e uno dei luoghi più importanti di Barcellona, la Plaza de Catalunya, che ha una superficie di 30.000 metri quadrati.
Scenderemo una delle strade più belle e famose della città, Las Ramblas, questa strada scende attraverso bancarelle di fiori e souvenir fino a raggiungere il vecchio porto della città in riva al mare.
Questa fontana era una delle porte di accesso a Barcellona quando era una città murata. Oggi ha una decorazione in ceramica che riflette una scena quotidiana della Barcellona del XVIII secolo

Questa piazza è l'attuale centro amministrativo e politico della città. Qui troviamo il municipio e il Palau de la Generalitat. In epoca romana, qui si incrociavano due grandi vie di comunicazione della città: il Cardo e il Decumano.
Nel centro del quartiere gotico, c'è la Cattedrale di Barcellona. Fu costruito sulle basi dell'originale basilica paleocristiana e della successiva cattedrale romanica ed è in stile gotico.

Laura was very knowledgeable and friendly and we learnt a lot and really enjoyed our time
Our guide was Enrique. He is very knowledgious and introducing us a lot of Catalonian history. It was a very nice tour around placa and Gothic area. We highly recommend it.

Montserrat was an amazing tour guide. She was friendly, charming and highly astute in her knowledge of the city. We learned so much more than we thought we would. We would recommend this tour, and specifically to her, to quite literally everyone we would come across. She was particularly studied in the layers of Barclonetan history across the ages and how it has all culminated into present day. Pleasant and fascinating visit of the Gothic quarter with Enrique.
My tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour with very interesting facts. I learned a lot more about the area that I've not heard before.
