Mentre stiamo camminando, ci fermeremo a piazza Dexameni. Dexameni significa cisterna in greco, la piazza prese il nome da una cisterna romana, l'area era prima di un quartiere di classe operaia, dopo il 1930 molti artisti, poeti e scrittori se ne andarono in giro. Potremmo stopo per un caffè nel caffè storico lì che era il punto d'incontro per gli artisti.

Eleni was very knowledgeable and had some great insights into Athens and the history of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The view from the mountain was breathtaking.
We were tired and it was hot and we didn't end up enjoying the overall idea or experience mostly due to that. The guide was knowledgeable but was a bit informal compared to our other experiences. Basically we just had too much heat and were exhausted.

The magnificent view and the areas with visited. The guide was very informative. It was a party of 6 and the guide was able to include each of us in the conversation.
Our guide Dionysis did a great job touring us around and providing insight and guidance on Mount Lycabettus and the surrounding area. He was engaging and helpful with information on other areas to visit in Athens and Greek islands to consider for the future. Highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful view of the city, good restaurant, tiring climb up to the funicular but as soon as you reach the top together with the church you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. Recommended to go there in the evening.
Amazing view. We were there for sunset and was crowded, as expected. Was not easy to find the fanicular car. A nice workout to get to the base of the hill. Worth the effort & a to do while visiting Athens
It's a steep walk up but well worth the effort for the views at the top. The only place where you can see the whole city laid out before you all the way to the sea.
