My daughter (14) and I were looking for a short, informative walking tour before we left town on Saturday morning. This was the perfect tour! Also, what a great value for what you get! Our tour was with Donald Watson (who portrayed James Otis). I was a little nervous at first that he didn’t have a microphone, but he did not need it. We had a large group (probably 25 people) and his voice carried over everyone. He also stopped along the way for questions and answered them personally before also announcing the question to the group. Our tour started at the Visitor’s Center in Boston Commons and weaved through Boston to Faneuil Hall. We only had time to go on the 90-minute tour, but it was fantastic. I am a huge Revolutionary War history buff, and this tour crammed lots and lots of facts and sites into only about 1-mile and 90-minutes worth of time. Mr. Watson was very animated and friendly, and definitely appears to love his job as a guide. He didn’t just “tell” the facts, but really brought them to life. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston and will book this tour (possibly the longer version) when my family and I visit Boston again in the future.

Very informational and historical in nature. Not physically strenuous. Our guide was eager to answer questions and kept the pace of a very large group (40) moving quite smoothly. My only complaint would be with that large of a group, being able to hear clearly was sometimes an issue - given the distance from the guide. Overall, great tour and highly recommended!
