Sito storico e museo della città di San Paolo. Con l'intenzione di insegnare e catechizzare i nativi, i gesuiti costruirono la prima scuola e iniziarono quella che 4 secoli dopo sarebbe diventata la più grande città dell'emisfero meridionale.
La residenza costruita intorno alla seconda metà del XVIII secolo serviva da alloggio per Domitila de Castro Canto conosciuta come "Marquesa de Santos". Domitila ha svolto un ruolo importante nel contribuire alla grandezza della città di San Paolo.
La casa n. 1 è una residenza storica del XVII secolo a tre piani che oggi è uno dei tredici edifici storici facenti parte del Museo della Città di San Paolo.
Visita la Cattedrale Sé che è stata ispirata dalle chiese europee medievali. L'imponente costruzione segna il centro di São Paulo (il punto zero della città è a Sé Square), una zona molto frequentata.
Dalla Largo São Francisco Law School, i suoi studenti e laureati, hanno iniziato i principali movimenti della storia brasiliana, dall'abolizionismo al movimento repubblicano. Per non parlare della campagna per "VOTARE ORA" (diretas já) durante il governo militare negli anni '80. Nel corso del tempo sono emersi 9 presidenti brasiliani, diversi governatori, sindaci e innumerevoli altre figure.
FECAP detiene la più antica certificazione di pubblica utilità in Brasile dal 1915. L'istituzione è stata anche la prima ad aprire corsi di Economia (1934) e Contabilità (1939) nel paese.
Nel cuore storico della città, il Centro Culturale Banco do Brasil occupa un edificio del 1901 a cinque piani. Cinema, teatro, auditorium, negozio e caffetteria, nonché grandi mostre in un'architettura neoclassica.
La Borsa di San Paolo è il principale mercato di borsa di società quotate in Brasile e ottavo al mondo per capitalizzazione.

Con 12 piani e 50 metri di altezza, il Sampaio Moreira fu l'edificio più alto della città di San Paolo tra il 1924 e il 1929, quando fu inaugurato l'edificio Martinelli. È quindi considerato il primo grande edificio a più piani della città, nonché uno dei primi nel paese a presentare tale tipologia.
Una delle cartoline di San Paolo, il viadotto del tè è stato il primo nella città di San Paolo. Porta questo nome a causa della vasta piantagione di tè nelle vicinanze.
Punto di incontro storico per manifestazioni culturali e politiche. Il più significativo fu il movimento "VOTING NOW" (diretas já) che chiedeva elezioni dirette durante il governo militare.
Inaugurato nel 1929, l'edificio era la sede della società canadese che era responsabile del servizio di energia elettrica di San Paolo tra il 1899 e il 1981.
Considerato una cartolina di San Paolo, il Teatro Comunale è uno dei luoghi storici più importanti della città a causa di numerosi importanti eventi culturali che hanno avuto luogo nelle sue strutture come la Settimana dell'Arte Moderna del 1922.
