It was basically good for getting an overview, but unfortunately you had to focus too much on the next stops. You had to enter these yourself. Therefore, you had to focus more on the phone than on the beautiful surroundings. A bit more depth regarding the history would have also been great.

I enjoyed being able to take the visit at my own pace and to listen to each comment again. No rushing after a guide who leads you by the nose. You can stop and take photos at your leisure.

The tour is a good place to start and introduction to Aix en Provence I suppose. I felt like it was a bit brief, both in stops and explanations

An informative and reasonably comprehensive introduction to the old town in Aix. We tried following the tour in reverse given that the last stop was close to our accommodation. We did this with the self guided Dijon tour and it worked flawlessly, but it didn't work so well here. There are several stops that are inside a church and therefore do not appear on the map. The only way of knowing this is by following in the recommended sequential order. With respect to the food stops, one was closed on the Monday we took the tour and the other had changed owners so was called something different and was difficult to find. Nonetheless the tour is well done and worthwhile.

A fabulous overview of Aix En Provence! Very easy to use - I replayed it many times as I walked through this lovely city. The sites are offered either rich detail and helpful accompanying photographs and maps. Thank you so much for making this tour available to travelers!

This visit allowed us to discover places where we would not necessarily have gone on our own.

This is a self guided walking tour. It's a nice inexpensive way to learn more about the city and I enjoyed the sweet treat stops added.

The narrative felt like it was being read from a tour guide. Didn’t cover food other than one biscuit shop. Didn’t seems to make use of the substantial history of Aix. Have done excellent audio tours in the past. This was disappointing.

I was hesitant purchasing without any reviews, but glad I did! Yes, you could google yourself - but for the cost this was so easy to use. It was an excellent way to orientate yourself around Aix, and the information included was interesting without being too much. I also liked that it had some food recommendations included, however I do note that stop 10 needs to be modified as Les Macarons de Caroline is permanently closed. It is also worth considering that a lot of things close on Sunday and/or Monday in Aix. I did this guide on a day that Madeleines De Christophe was closed - no matter, I went back the following day and it was worth the wait! Overall, I would recommend purchasing this guide to save you the hassle of your own research, if a guided tour is not your thing. You will walk through a large portion of Aix, and see highlights along the way.
