It was Marco's first "official" time taking guests on this tour. Marco, who comes from Italy and is now living in France with his French wife, is a professional translator-so his use of the English language was quite top notch. He was friendly, highly engaged, educational and focused on tailoring the Toulouse inner city tour to our needs (we will be emigrating from the US next Spring- and Toulouse is one of five cities in France that we are considering for our new "home"). This tour has a high customer service satisfaction score- and Marco illustrated that he is more than up to earning more "5-star" reviews for this wonderful, personally tailored tour.
Our guide was wonderful and entertaining, and took us to the places we'd asked in advance to see, plus lots of others. We have been very happy with private guides arranged through Viator.
Toulouse is a very walkable city that doesn’t feel too big, but also doesn’t feel too small. Being able to walk everywhere is a huge benefit, especially for travelers who are visiting without a car. Even though we had a car, we ended up just parking at our hotel and walking everywhere the entire time we were there.
I don't know who these people are, but they are NOT a professional tour company. We requested a private tour of Toulouse graffiti., which is not a common request. The "guide' knew absolutely nothing about the subject! He dragged us around Toulouse for 5 hours. When he finally located a graffiti site, he had zero to offer except for the name of the artist. He was not aware of Toulouse's famous most grafitti street. I had to show it to him! This company has no business trying to pass some guy off as a guide and charging us for it. I assume that everyone there are amatuers and would strongly advise that you shop elsewhere. BTW, I have written them twice and they do not answer. Don't waste your money or precious day in Toulouse with these people. Find genuine guides.
