Godetevi Tonle Sap Lake, è un lago senza estremità di fronte a voi, uccelli che volano lentamente sopra la testa e circondano con l'interessante villaggio e zona umida. Un giro in barca locale ti porterà al Tonle Sap Lake e al villaggio dove vedrai la natura in un modo che hai visto solo nei libri illustrati ed è dove ora vedrai case dei villaggi, scuole, case governative costruite su alti trampoli ma la pagoda sull'unica butte (l'unico edificio che non è su palafitte) e vedrai le attività degli abitanti del villaggio che la tua Guida Esperta ti insegnerà la loro cultura, lo stile di vita e l'ecosistema di questo luogo affascinante. Questo tour conclude il pick up e drop-off dell'hotel. Si prega di scegliere tra uno dei due orari di partenza al momento della prenotazione.

Incontra la guida nella tua hall dell'hotel a Siem Reap per la partenza mattutina o pomeridiana. I pickup al mattino sono vari tra le 7:30 alle 8:30, mentre i viaggi pomeridiani partono alle 14:00 e vanno a prendere la varietà tra le 13:00 e le 14:00. Quindi gli ospiti sono invitati ad aspettare nella hall dell'hotel e pronti ad andare non appena arriva la tua guida. Il tour si è svolto questa mattina / pomeriggio in un tour di gruppo nella campagna che porta in circa 45 minuti al villaggio di pescatori di Kompong Phluk il cui nome significa "porto delle zanne" e il grande lago della Cambogia. Godetevi il lago Tonle Sap, è un lago senza estremità davanti a voi e uccelli che volano lentamente sopra la testa e circondano con l'interessante villaggio. Durante la stagione secca (da febbraio a luglio), il villaggio può essere raggiunto in mini bus o in moto, poiché la strada accidentata che normalmente viene allagata si asciuga. Nella stagione delle piogge (da agosto a gennaio), un breve tragitto in barca dal molo, attraverso la zona umida, ti porterà a Kompong Phluk. Non è un villaggio galleggiante, ma un villaggio su alti palafitte e alcune case galleggianti e nonostante la pesca è spesso il privilegio della minoranza vietnamita, ma gli abitanti di Kompong Phluk sono quasi esclusivamente di origine cambogiana. Gli abitanti del villaggio si spostano spesso da una casa all'altra durante la stagione delle piogge, vivono in case costruite su palafitte e si spostano in piccole capanne vicino al lungomare durante la stagione secca per praticare la pesca. Arrivati in banchina, salite a bordo di una barca locale per un giro di 1,5 ore sul lago Tonle Sap e in un villaggio dove vedrete la natura in un modo che avete visto solo nei libri illustrati, e il tour di Kampong Phluk vale la pena un ulteriore sforzo per arrivarci, poi visiteremo il villaggio, la pagoda sull'unica collina (l'unico edificio che non è su palafitte) e vediamo le attività degli abitanti del villaggio che la tua guida esperta ti insegnerà sulla loro cultura, lo stile di vita e l'ecosistema di questo luogo affascinante. Facoltativo (da agosto a gennaio): è possibile pagare un extra per prendere una piccola pagaia in canoa da parte degli abitanti del villaggio (o attendere il gruppo a circa 40 minuti); ti porterà in profondità nella fitta foresta allagata. Gli alberi di questa foresta si adattano perfettamente alla loro inusuale esistenza in quanto sono completamente sommersi da una parte dell'anno. Ritorna a Siem Reap e scendi al tuo hotel o richiedi il punto di partenza nel centro di Siem Reap.

+ Il tour mattutino parte alle 8:30 e iniziamo il prelievo dalle 7:30. + Il tour pomeridiano parte alle 14:00 e iniziamo il prelievo dalle 13:00. Quindi gentilmente pronti 60 minuti prima della partenza e pronti per partire non appena arrivano le tue guide. + Nota: da gennaio a settembre dell'anno, il villaggio e il lago sono asciutti, quindi non è disponibile alcuna canoa per il tuo optional. Ma il piccolo giro in barca è ancora incluso sul fiume basso e torbido che ti porta al lago nella stagione secca.

Very organized and precise, the guide was very satisfactory. The tour was pleasant and of excellent quality.
We did this tour with the best guide ever: Vantha. Everything was well organised and explained. We really enjoyed the tour.
This was a great tour, seeing the floating village, including the highschool and village stilt houses was very interesting. Canoeing through the mangroves and seeing the fish traps was a great experience. We tried the grilled snake for dinner which tasted like beef jerky. Our tour guide Thom was very funny and knowledgeable, having grown up and still living in a floating village. My partner Lewis and I highly recommend this tour.
We we fortunate to get the same guide and driver that we had two days ago on a different tour. They were, once again, wonderful to be with. Our guide, Nak, was very knowledgeable, genuine and thoughtful, as was our driver. Visiting the market was quite the experience. He explained a lot about the people’s work schedules, seasonal factors, customs, and other aspects of life. We also visited a riverside village, where we learned more about ways of life in this geo specific community, and visit led a local school where we met enchanting children who practiced their English skills by exchanging questions and answers with us. We then enjoyed a river tour in which we were blessed by tropical rains while we had lunch on one of the floating restaurants and learned more about the area. Everything about this tour was fabulous, and it’s a great value. We highly recommend it.
This is a great experience to learn and understand about rural life. Our guide Nak was exceptional in his knowledge and attentiveness. We went on the trip with our 17 year old who recognised immediately from the Grand Tour ‘Seaman’ series and was instantly engaged. We would highly recommend
Our driver/English speaking guide, Mr Kong Thy was very informative, friendly and stayed with us the whole time. We felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The sunset was spectacular on Tonle Sap Lake.
Very nice - our tour guide San was knowledgeable and our driver Phallit was very safe and cautious. We stopped at a coffee/rest area on the way to the lake. We also stopped at a market for a quick tour. Then we proceeded to the fishing tours with a tour of a school and a temple. The kids at the school were eager to practice English for a few minutes and very friendly! We took the boat onto the lake and made a couple quick stops at fishing village floating restaurants. San was with us the whole time showing us around. Nothing was crowded and it was all easily accessible. On the way back to Siem Reap our driver took us to a local restaurant that was tasty and not crowded. Overall great value and enjoyable experience!
We had an amazing experience on the Tonle Sap Lake & Kampong Phluk Village Half Day Tour. From start to finish, everything was well organised and enjoyable. Our tour guide, San, was outstanding, very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and daily life of the area. He made the whole trip engaging and informative, and was happy to answer every question. 10/10 for San! Our driver, Phearom, was equally excellent and professional. The vehicle was spotless, very comfortable, and made the drive relaxing and enjoyable. Another 10/10! The highlight of the trip was visiting the village school and meeting the local children. It was a great experience and gave us a real insight into village life around Tonle Sap Lake. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Great team, great service, and an unforgettable experience.
A really interesting tour, setting all the ways of local people’s lives was fascinating. Our tour guide had extensive knowledge and has great English speaking skills. I would highly recommend 👍🏼🙏🏻
A wonderful tour. We were lucky enough to experience wedding in the floating village. They invited us in and shred their drinks and food (I wasn’t game enough to eat the food). Awesome sunset from the floating market.
