National Park Shuttles è l'unico operatore Manawhenua con sede a Waimarino, che fornisce servizi di trasporto affidabili dall'unico parcheggio custodito situato sulla State Highway 46 alla fine della strada Ketetahi. Offriamo un'esperienza senza stress consentendoti di parcheggiare in sicurezza prima di intraprendere il viaggio. Vi trasferiamo dal parcheggio privato all'inizio del trekking (Mangatepopo). Puoi camminare velocemente o lentamente come vuoi. Niente ore di attesa per una navetta all'arrivo se sei veloce. Non correre per la navetta se sei lento. Alla fine del trekking, arriverete al parcheggio Ketetahi di 4 ore. Camminerete per altri 900 metri da lì, per tornare a dove è parcheggiata la vostra auto. State certi che nessuno viene mai lasciato indietro!

L'unico parcheggio privato. Questo NON è PARCHEGGIO SUL LATO DELLA STRADA della HWY46. Se viaggi da Taupo Turangi assicurati di prendere la HWY 1 e svoltare sulla HWY46 (Parco Nazionale). Ci vorranno circa 20 minuti per raggiungere il parcheggio. Il cartello vero e proprio si trova sul lato sinistro della strada e dice "TONGARIRO SHUTTLE CAR PARK". Se viaggi dal National Park Village, prendi la HWY 47, percorri quella strada per circa 25-30 minuti, quindi svolta a destra sulla HWY 46 (Rangipo). Da lì ci vorranno circa 10 minuti per raggiungere il parcheggio. È a 400 metri dall'ingresso della pista Ketetahi (non percorrere quella strada). È necessario presentarsi al parcheggio almeno 15 minuti prima dell'orario di partenza. Il personale sarà al parcheggio per effettuare il check-in. Mostra la tua conferma.

You can arrive 20minutes early to the carpark and you are allowed to hope on any shuttle which comes first even it’s from other agencies. This arrangement is excellent especially during Easter holiday when the waiting queue is long and crowded. I like this arrangement. At the end of the track, you will need to walk to the car park for another 1 km, which is flat and ok.
You walk around the lake about 80 to 90 minutes and pay 4 euros. Last year it was 2 euros. Certainly not again, just rip it off. Incidentally, there are many nice opportunities for walking here since you don't need the Unterbacher See

Epic experience. Shuttles were well organised and on time. Crazy Tracey was the best driver. Very funny and lots of great info. The whole experience was amazing! Bucket list item for sure.
All went as planned, meet at the car park and good local knowledge from our driver..
To make the Alpine Crossing carefree, the round trip transport is more than recommended. Pick up at the start and finish. Were promptly the driver friendly the bus came of age, but completely fulfilled its purpose.
Top service - we camped at the Whakapapa Holiday Park and booked the shuttle service there and back, just from the campsite. Super comfortable, so you can leave the camper standing. It all worked out great 😍.
We arrived early and the driver left promptly when the van filled, so we were able to get on the track a bit earlier than expected. It is more than .5 miles down a dusty road to the car park when you are done this amazing walk. It would be nice if there was a pedestrian walk off the road, or transport back to the lot.
The best shuttle for the Tongariro crossing. Amazing staff and our driver was lovely and shared lots of knowledge about the area. Highly recommended!
