Tokyo Cyberpunk Street Photo Workshop

The Tokyo Cyberpunk Street Photo Workshop was one of the best experiences of my trip. Charles was an outstanding guide and an excellent photography instructor. He shared practical tips that helped me improve my photography, from composition and lighting to making the most of Tokyo's incredible neon-lit streets. Beyond photography, Charles also shared fascinating insights into Tokyo's nightlife, culture, and the stories behind the neighborhoods we explored. His knowledge and passion made the entire experience both educational and fun. Charles was friendly, patient, and always willing to answer questions. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, I highly recommend this tour. It's a fantastic way to capture Tokyo's unique atmosphere while learning from a great guide.

The workshop was great! We walked a lot, and I learned so much about techniques, framing, and camera settings. The places we photographed were absolutely incredible.

Great experience with a wonderful guide who explained every stop we made. Well worth the money and got to see all aspects of Tokyo’s nightlife.

I cannot recommend this tour and this company enough. I have taken four trips with Charles he is extremely friendly and a great teacher. I am a serious photographer and he taught me many things and I went with my brother only uses his phone and he enjoyed the tour very much. I can also highly recommend Lee and the old Tokyo tour, which is amazing. I also took a tour in Kyoto with a guide, who I unfortunately cannot remember his name, and we went to an absolutely amazing temple, and there was only one other visitor during the timewe explore the temple. If you know Kyoto, you know how amazing that is as you can tell I highly recommend this company and all ofthe guides I have gone with have been superb.

Nat our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant but unfortunately he walked very fast. My friend and I struggled to keep up and after an hour we totally lost track of him. We did not know where we were so had to take a taxi back to our hotel, missing the last hour of the tour.

Charles is very personable, friendly, and knowledgable about the local area! He helped make lay some important tips and adjustments I wasn't quite getting right to make the shots perfect!

This was an awesome experience from start to finish. Not only was Charles knowledgeable of the area, he was also really handy at helping with setups for different types of shoots and how to apply those settings for best effect. His geographic knowledge of the areas around Tokyo are excellent, lending multiple different places to capture great shots of Tokyo and its neon. If you have the chance I’d highly recommend this tour with your camera!

This tour was a fantastic experience. Charles was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and cheerful, and he has a clear passion for photography. He gave me some fantastic tips on using my phone camera and how to get the best shots, and he helped me get amazing photos that I've sent to my family and friends back home. If you want to see Tokyo through a different lens, quite literally, and explore the intricate twists and turns around the maze of Shinjuku and Shibuya, then this is the tour for you.
