Offriamo un laboratorio pratico dove si può sperimentare washi fatto a mano, un mestiere tradizionale giapponese. Tosa Washi, con oltre 1.000 anni di storia, è una delle prime tre carte washi del Giappone. Nota per la sua forza e il suo calore, è facile da provare e rende memorabile l'esperienza di Asakusa, perfetta per gli appassionati di artigianato o cultura giapponese. Dopo un breve video sulla storia e il processo di Tosa Washi, indosserai indumenti da lavoro tradizionali (samue) e realizzerai cartoline washi con l'aiuto di un istruttore amichevole. Sia nel piano di carta normale che nel piano di carta colorata, realizzerai a mano quattro cartoline semplici. Il piano di carta colorata include un passo in più: sovrapporre bellissimi Rakusuishi - washi decorativi simili a pizzi - sulla parte superiore. Puoi scegliere i tuoi quattro colori preferiti. Kazu did an amazing job with the group. He was patient and inclusive and made sure everyone had fun. Highly recommended experience!
Kazu was a wonderful instructor. My friend and I took a car to Watashino and were happily greeted by Kazu. He explained everything so well and loved learning about the way washi paper was made. He had everything lined up perfectly so we could learn as well on a smaller scale. We loved our postcards we made! The gift shop attached is so cute too! Great souvenirs! Thank you Kazu and team!

This is an amazing experience! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Japan, it was such an interesting learning experience about how washi is made and walking away with some handmade paper that we made ourselves isthe best souvenir we can possibly take home

It was a washi-making experience I had always wanted to try. It was a hot day, but I was able to experience it in a cool and comfortable atmosphere indoors, and the teacher was cheerful and talked lightly while explaining washi, which was a wonderful experience.
