Itinerario
Il tuo tour inizia con una visita al lago Thousand Island, che si trova nel sud del distretto di Shiding, nella città di Nuova Taipei. Il bacino idrografico del bacino di Feitsui circondato da colline crea uno scenario unico: un lago con migliaia di isole, che condivide lo stesso nome con il "Lago Qiandao" (letteralmente mille lago insulare) in Cina a causa della somiglianza tra i due.
Il terreno naturale e il clima rendono la zona circostante del bacino di Feitsui un terreno agricolo ideale per la coltivazione del tè, tra cui il tè Wenshan Baozhong e il tè Dong Fang Mei Ren. Il tour prosegue con una visita al Museo del tè di Pinglin, un edificio di tipo Siheyuan (casa a cortile quadriangolare) in stile Hokkien che caratterizza la dimora tradizionale di Taiwan. Il museo ha un'abbondante collezione di strumenti e attrezzature tradizionali per la raccolta, set da tè, campioni di tè e molti altri che imparerai sulla storia e lo sviluppo dell'industria del tè di Taiwan. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The trip was seamless and he also helped us take great photos. We tried three very nice teas in Pinglin. I highly recommend this tour if you are staying in Taipei and don't have a car to explore the rest of the island. You are missing out!

I really liked this tour! The lake was pretty and the guide will take you to all the good viewpoints (note that you see it from afar and don't go up close) The guide had a lot of knowledge to share during the museum visit. And the tea ceremony was so much fun - probably my favorite part. You'll learn tips on getting the best flavor out of tea and try some locally grown varieties. If you go, wear appropriate clothes for visiting temples since there is one near the last stop you can visit.

Grace was a fantastic tour guide and her English skills impressive. She provided a lot of information and was able to answer any questions I had. Awesome tour, quick chance to see a bit of the outskirts and hills around Taipei in an afternoon. If you’re short on time, but you want to see some nature this one is decent. Sharon the guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

We got soaking wet in a downpour which added to the fun. The lakes area is beautiful and the tea drinking was enlightening, and delicious.

Molly was a great guide to a relaxing tour of Thousand Island Lake, tea fields nearby, a visit to the Pinglin Tea museum, & a tea tasting session at a tea shop run by two brothers in their 70’s. It was wonderful to leave the crowds of Taipei for a few hours & enjoy the scenery in a lush & mountainous rural area. Molly guided the group through much of the tea museum & then gave us some time to explore on our own. Learning how to prepare & tasting three types of local tea was enjoyable too.
