Descrizione

Memorable Tour

Make sure to wear sunglasses, long pants, and a sweatshirt and/or coat (windbreaker) with a stocking hat. It gets cold when you go up the mountains. But the trip is worth it. Breath taking views. Mother Nature at her best! Our guide James was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. We lost a cellphone along the way and he located it alongside the road while driving. Tour guide of the year! He went above and beyond for our tour for scenery and wildlife. Thank you James for a memorable tour.

Best way to see the park!

There were 9 of us in a open air jeep. We were taken to various points of interest in the park our guide, Pete, was very knowledgeable and drove safely in the park. The scenery was spectacular! Pete was very patient when some of us wanted to hike to 12.004 feet which made us a little late. This is the way to see the park! A very memorable experience!

Interesting but not a safari

This experience is poorly labeled. What we booked thinking was a chance to see animals on trails we would not otherwise be able to access was actually the exact same roads all other tours (and even just people visiting the park) drove on. Our guide (Sam) was really great. He was kind and interesting and really the only reason this review is 3 stars instead of less. If you are looking for someone to drive you up the Rockies and tell you some cool facts - this is the (very expensive) trip for you. If you are looking for a safari - look elsewhere.

Family fun.

Very informative. Nice way to see the park with guide and you get to sit back and relax and let someone else do the driving. We had a wonderful time.

Safari tour

Nick Wagner was knowledgeable and helpful. We were supplied snacks and blankets since it did get colder at the higher elevations of the mountain. He pointed out several animals along the way.

Awesome Green Jeep Tours!

We had an awesome trip with Green Jeep Tours. Our guide, Jennifer, was so knowledgable and made the trip so much fun! This is the best way to tour Rocky Mountain National Park.

Jen is a great guide! Knowledgeable and she gives good information.

Dress in layers. It gets colder as you climb in elevation. The guides are helpful with pertinent information about the park and wildlife.

Risposta dell'operatore

Thank you for your review. Yes, the higher the elevation, the cooler the temperatures. We recommend jackets in the summer, and the guide will bring along blankets for you to use. Our jeeps also have extra heaters installed in the passenger area for your comfort.

Rocky Mountain experience

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Sam was our very knowledgeable guide. He's incredibly experienced and knows every inch of the Trail Ridge Road. The tour takes you all the way up to the Alpine Visitor Center which is the highest visitor center in the country at 11,796ft, with beautiful scenic stops along the way. Although, a guide has no control over what animals you see, Sam knows which parts of the park are best for animal spotting. We were fortunate and saw two beautiful bull elk and one bull moose on the way back down. I would highly recommend this tour if you'd like to learn about Rocky Mountain National Park.

Great experience

We had an incredible experience. Before the tour started, we told the guide we were hoping to see a moose. He went out of his way to make sure we had every possibility of seeing one, including circling back through the willows before we left the park, and on that circle back, we finally spotted one!
