Private 2.5 hour tour, amazing value! Diego was incredible - how he spots birds and animals is astounding! We also learned a lot, his knowledge is incredible. We saw many species of birds, including a quetzal, bell bird and umbrella bird! In addition there were snakes, insects and even a coati! We only saw a few other people in the park, so it felt very private and was very quiet. It does require some hiking, but was very manageable as my young daughter and my parents were able to finish without any issues!
Thanks so much! Really enyojed the time with you guys
Stephen was our guide and he was INCREDIBLE and it was SUCH good experience. He was very knowledgeable and loved what he does. He was very skilled and we were able to see 2 quetzals for a long time. He is very talented. Saw many other birds and animals. Stephen was fantastic and I wish him well in his career.
Thanks Austin !!

Thanks so much really aprecciate it😃
It was such a great experience and we successfully saw the female&male quetzal twice in the morning - they were switching and staying for a few minutes outside. Diego is very professional and friendly, he also pointed other birds and plants to us. Strongly recommended.
Thanks so much really appreciate

Really great experience! Diego was amazing and outside of providing a very personalized experience finding and photographing the Quetzals. The info along the tour was great. Highly recommend.
Thanks Simon! Really have a great time!
Diego is an amazing guide. Spotting animals is not easy, spotting rare ones is more so. Yet Diego delivered flawlessly. To say I was impressed it's an understatement. He was recommended to us by a ranger at a park and I can see why. He IS extremely good.
Thanks Walter This is amazing
We had a wonderful morning with Diego. We saw a number of interesting birds, including a Quetzal!
Thanks so much!!! Diego
We were expecting to go on the hunt for the Resplendent Quetzal with Diego. As a result of an emergency we ended up having Donald as our guide. I was a bit concerned because I had read Diego’s reviews but not Donald’s in the end Donald delivered. We did get to see a Quetzal during our visit to Monteverde Reserve. Other than he not liking me chewing gum, (which I do to calm anxiety) and getting upset because I did touch the lens on his scope because it was foggy, (I apologized) it was a good tour. He can be a little rough around the edges I guess. But all in all got the job done. We also saw bats inside a strangling ficus tree. He also showed us some interesting thorn shaped insects, a hummingbird and its nest and spider monkeys. I am very impressed on how the guides at the parks help each other when they see wildlife and do not compete with each other. It’s nice to see that.
Hi Martha Thanks for this, I really aprecciate this review Sadly last minute emergency I Could not do This tour I apologize, Thanks Diego
Our guide had an emergency, causing a colleague and friend to take over from him. We were very happy that we could start the tour on the planned day. We searched for the Quetzal for a long time, eventually heard it and then waited and looked out. At the current time of year the odds were rather low, but in the end we were just right thanks to our guide when a monk flew over our heads. 2 seconds that were worth it to us in the end.:)
Thanks so much Really Aprecciate this!!! Diego!
