Itinerario
Al mattino, incontra la tua Guida e il tuo allenatore in uno dei punti di prelievo centrali di Dublino. Prendi un comodo posto a sedere e goditi il viaggio fuori città. Mentre lasciamo la città vi porteremo lungo la costa per arrivare a Killiney Hill. Qui ti portiamo in una breve passeggiata per ammirare la vista spettacolare della baia di Dublino, quindi taglia via dalla città e goditi lo scenario costiero roccioso mentre ti dirigi verso le Wicklow Mountains.
Questa fermata vi porta a Avoca Handweavers, Kilmacanogue. Godetevi un caffè e focaccine fatte in casa o negozio di beni artigianali pregiati (a proprie spese).
Lasciamo Avoca e prendiamo un percorso che i grandi pullman turistici non possono fare, attraverso Enniskerry e Glencree e nel profondo delle vere montagne Wild Wicklow e Sally Gap.
Continuando il nostro viaggio attraverso il Parco Nazionale dei Monti Wicklow e Sally Gap. Ammira le pendici superiori del parco, coperte di erica e torbiere prima di fermarti al Lough Tay (Il lago della Guinness) una vera meraviglia e location cinematografica per Braveheart, PS I Love You e le serie TV Vikings.
Successivamente, il tuo gruppo visiterà un pub tradizionale irlandese per il pranzo (a proprie spese). Rilassati, assapora la cucina casalinga irlandese e sorseggia una cremosa Guinness prima di dirigerti verso la valle glaciale di Glendalough. Nel corso della storia, i visitatori sono venuti nella "valle dei due laghi" per la sua storia mistica, l'archeologia e la fauna selvatica unica. Ashley was a brilliant guide. I have been meaning to write this review for ages - we did this tour in October 2025! It was at the beginning of a 4.5 week driving holiday around Ireland, including the Northern part of Ireland. Ashley's social, political, historical and cultural knowledge was phenomenal! Throughout our holiday from there on, whenever we took a guided walk, or a museum etc, my husband and I would turn to each other and say - Ashley told us about this, or, That's exactly what Ashley said. It was a great set up for our trip as was our visit to Kilmainham Gaol. It was a great day overall, and it was lovely to be taken care of by a local. His recollections of visiting the area as a child and telling us about the system of people using patches for harvesting their fuel was fascinating. Lunch at a cute pub was delicious, and we stopped at the Avoca Kilmacanogue Co. Wicklow. I'm visiting Ireland again next month (from Australia) and want to go back to this place! Highly recommended! I hope Ashley gets to see this - he was one of our favourite guides on our entire 7-week long holiday.
Lots of beautiful photos and a knowledgeable tour guide. The places we went were beautiful, lunch was delicious, and the bus was comfortable.
John was a fantastic guide. He was well informed and made sure that we knew the present pass and future of every spot we made. was very accommodating throughout the entire trip and made for a pleasurable experience.
Out guid Jim was funny and dedicated to his job. He answered all of our questions. I appriciated small group of people.
Niall was amazing and funny! He drive through unique places and gave very interesting info about Dublin's history! He was very nice and understanding and made sure all of us were doing ok! He was a great guide!
Our tour with Niall was really informative. Length of tour was just nice. He was both the driver and the guide. Love all the spots he brought us. He was really knowledgeable and shared his stories with us. Would reccomended this tour with Niall when you come to Dublin. Suggest sitting in front if you have motion sickness.
Patrick, our driver and guide, provided a lot of useful information along the route, from historical anecdotes, to plants, animals, and other interesting facts about Ireland. Patrick was patient, kind, and a very good Irish ambassador. (The ride included music curation and some singing).
My 87-year-old father and I had a super nice and educational excursion to the Wicklow Mountains. Besides the impressive landscape, we especially admired our tour guide Niall. Niall not only chauffeured us safely and relaxed through the narrowest streets with oncoming traffic, but also provided us from the first minute with information and stories about all sorts of things along our route. Niall has such a colorful storytelling style, equipped with knowledge and wit, that he made the excursion a perfect experience for us. Thank you very much for this beautiful day!
