My Guide was Sonali and I had a wonderful time trying Indias Street Food with her. I ran late but because i was the only person on the tour she was able to wait. The food I tried was really good and Sonali shared so many interesting facts with me about Delhi, the food we were eating and life in the city. I heavily recommend taking this tour.
A great experience- thank you to our very knowledgeable and friendly guides. We walked and drove around Old Dehli- saw parts I would have never had the courage to see on my own. Perfect for us first timers to India. The food was interesting, surprising, sweet and savoury- a great mix- we did the non veg and vegetarian tour- cannot reccomend it enough.
Got to see parts of the city I would never of come to on my own! So many different dishes each with their own flavours.
It was very funny the gudes were were nice and helpfull
A lot of new Impression and experiences and new tastes
Parul was an excellent guide leading us through the metro, onto rickshaws, down alleys, across the streets of Old Delhi. A great tour of a lively area. The food was lovely, and we experienced styles we would not have been brave enough to try, or ever found. As well as info on the food Parul was a great storyteller with lots of anecdotes of India generally.
Amazing experience. Great communication beforehand. Everything was included and handled for us - metro, food and drink at all the places (including small extras we wanted to try). So it was very easy. We went to places we never would have found or dared to try. The food was all amazing and a great chance to try something different. Our guide, Sonali, was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be around. The value for money was also good, lots of amazing food for less than a normal dinner. Our tour was 4 hours long and took us right into the heart of the city through tiny, busy streets.
Parul was an amazing guide and host. She gave us clear instructions on where and how to meet her and then helped us navigate to old Delhi with ease. The food we had ranged from sweet treats to snacks and then of course to kebabs and curries. The variety of foods was amazing and every place had a story and explanation of the flavours and history accompanied with it. For the price of £40, one definitely gets their moneys worth. It took just over 4 hours from start to finish with plenty of food refills, water breaks and toilet stops. Overall was the highlight of our trip to Delhi, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to eat good food and learn a lot about Delhi and India in general from a local experienced guide.
This food tour was absolutely fantastic, all the food we had was delicious and catered to all kinds of tastes to provide us with an authentic taste of old Delhi. Our guide, Parul, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us an insight into the history of Old Delhi as well as the culture of India as we walked the streets. We covered over 10 stops on the tour in around 4hrs, and were able to have as much of the food as we’d like, although we’re offered more than enough as standard. We went as a group of 5 but this tour would be great for smaller or larger groups. 10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in trying delicious local cuisine.
Excellent trip. Lots of great food and culture
