Fabulous, really enjoyed the tour
An excellent experience for those who are fans of The Godfather. We visit scenes from the film recordings where there are photos of the films themselves. The guide was very helpful and very friendly, giving us a framing of the movies and the villages during the watch in the minibus.
great experience, guide very knowledgeable on the movie sites and shpwing us all the parts that were in the movie and telling us about the towns we visited also making the tour not just about the movie but tour of local sicillian villages which were beautiful to see with the local people encoraging us to stay.
Great tour, much more than Godfather. Beautiful medieval towns. Lots of history. Isabella was an amazing tour guide and Sebastiano is a very safe driver.
Isabella and driver excellent
If you're a fan of the movie, it's a lot of fun! Otherwise it wouldn't mean much but still fun. Not inly did we get to see some iconic spots from the movie, we also got to see 2 small villages we wouldn't have seen otherwise! We had fun! I can't wait to watch the movie again now! Isabella was an awesome guide too! Lots of history about the various towns.
Leads to the filming locations, Bar Vitelli is worth seeing but expensive, the tour guide spoke English at the request of all guests (except us 2), unfortunately not Italian, we still understood quite a bit. Bus organization etc. top.
Great guide Good trip and saw what wanted to see Pity the extortionate prices charged by the Vitelli bar weren’t publicised prior to booking €13.50 for a 330ml bottle of beer is scandalous Although the pizzeria at forza d’Agrò was a lovely place and very well priced
Absolutely amazing experience. Loved it all and would definitely do it again. The tour guide was so helpful and made the whole day wonderful.
We caught the train to Taormina, then caught a bus to the bus station, soon picked up for our godfather tour, a short journey into the mountains to savoca, we visited the church where Pacino got married, also visited bar vitelli where they filmed scenes , and had a walk round the village, bought many souvenirs, we then drove to another village, where some scenes were filmed, had some food and a drink, then caught the bus back , the tour guide was amazing, she knew everything about the film and areas , all in all a gr8 experience, thankyou viator for a memorable trip 😀
