Itinerario
Visita di Savoca, un bellissimo villaggio scelto come una delle location siciliane del film Padrino; esplorare i vicoli medievali del paese e scoprire le sue bellezze e punti di interesse, i set di alcune scene iconiche del film, come il famoso Bar Vitelli e la Chiesa di San Nicolò. Altri siti interessanti del villaggio che puoi visitare sono la Chiesa Madre, la Chiesa di San Michele e le rovine del Castello di Pentefur e la Cappucciny Coventry (dove è possibile vedere le mummie di alcuni illustri di Savoca). L'ammissione alla coventry è gratuita, anche se è possibile lasciare un'offerta gratuita.
Visita di Forza D'Agrò, dove sono state girate significative scene all'aperto dell'intera trilogia, in particolare all'esterno della chiesa madre di Forza D'Agrò; passeggia per le stradine di questo villaggio e scopri angoli sorprendenti. Alcune delle antiche chiese e palazzi risalgono all'XI e al XV secolo, come le rovine di San Michele o la Chiesa della Santissima Trintià e la Coventry agostiniana. Goditi la vista spettacolare della costa ionica dall'alto da uno dei tanti punti panoramici del villaggio.

Fantastic tour. Our guide Diego was informative, very friendly and great driver. Good amount of time to explore both towns and all the relevant sites in the movies. I especially liked the price which was good value , small group of 8 and time (about 4 hours) as we spent rest of day exploring Taormina 😊
The actual tour was very good, with our guide Tony, but I can’t give this more than a 3/5 because they messed us about so much. I booked this months in advance specifically for Saturday morning as we were only in Taormina for 48 hours and had other things booked to maximise our time and see everything we wanted to. On Friday late morning I received a message from Agnese saying they could no longer facilitate the tour at the time I booked and now it was going to be 3-7pm which did not fit with our plans, no reason was given. I told Agnese I was very unhappy and mad about this as it totally ruined all our other plans - we went back and forwards and were then offered to reschedule to Monday morning, when we were due to leave on Sunday night. I was trying to find another tour we could book and cancel this to no avail, everything was fully booked. Eventually after several messages Agnese then decided that there was in fact a Sunday morning tour we could change to at the original time. The whole annoying message exchange when we were trying to enjoy other activities could’ve been avoided if she would have just said Sunday morning was an option in the first place. We weren’t even confident they would arrive to pick us up based on this experience, but Tony was 10 minutes early and the tour went off without further issue. Overall I liked the actual tour but the stress of dealing with Agnese detracted from the whole experience.

Our driver Antonio was amazing. Went above and beyond to make sure we were good. He really was fantastic! The tour however was a bit of a let down. We didn’t have any information about the sites we were visiting and expected to be told more about the godfather films. found out whilst going to forza d’Agro and savoca that the hop on/hop off bus takes you to these places for 20€
Antonio was an awesome host! We had a wonderful time. He was patient, kind, and willing to take care of us every step of the way.
To be there on the 50th anniversary of the making of the movie Godfather was itself extraordinary. The trip was well planned. Our guide Giuseppe was amazing- friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The rustic scenic beauty of the Savoca was breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the excursion.
Had a good time on this tour, getting to see some stunning parts of Sicily we wouldn’t have found on our own. Our tour guide (Giuseppe) really looked after us and made every effort to ensure we all enjoyed the day.
