We had such a great time on our ATV adventure! We rode through lakes, saw beautiful volcano views, spotted wildlife, and even got to stop at a waterfall. The scenery was amazing and made the whole experience worth it. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had a good time. Definitely one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip! 🇨🇷🌋💦 I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting La Fortuna!
The 3-hour ATV tour with a small group was amazing and our guide Josue made a difference! We went through hills, waterfalls, mud tracks, climbed up to see the Volcano and had a blast! Go even in the rain, it's even better!
Was not what we were expecting. We enjoyed the stops along the way but when it came down to it, it just wasn’t exciting. We felt like we drove on the road more than anything.
Fun way to explore parts of La Fortuna. Good guides, safe, and enjoyable. Good for novice and intermediate riders.
This was one of the best experiences of the lifetime - The ATV ride in the rain and maneuvering on the rugged muddy terrain was a in adventure within - The beautiful jungle type setting and going to the waterfall was absolutely incredible!! The ATV guides were very friendly and coached us to how operate the ATV's and led the group very professionally through the entire coarse of the pathway through forest, clouds, uphill and downhill climbs and maneuvering through the cascading streams and dense forests. The ATVs were well maintained and fun to ride.
This was a favorite for my son. The three hour tour is definitely worth it, the best part of the tour was the last hour. The guides kept us safe. My advice is to make sure you take water, there was not an option for water on the tour.
Book through your hotel concierge if possible. We screwed ours up by choosing wrong hotel for pickup. Despite that the operators worked with us and got us on another tour but ours was paid for and pre scheduled. Just want to be clear we didn’t just show up expecting a tour on demand. Very rocky terrain so might be challenging if you’ve never ATV’d before but totally safe. You are absolutely not doing anything too crazy so even if you’re new to ATV, do it! You’ll be fine. You will get a little dirty and one or two water crossings but that is the best part!! We appreciated the pineapple mid ride and the couple breaks we had from riding. The hike up to base of volcano is short but uphill so it will require some degree of cardiovascular fitness! Beautiful view if you get up there! Very nice people running the activity and safety conscious and mindful to keep the group together. All throughout the ride beautiful scenery to enjoy!
The 3 hour tour includes a hike up the volcano with great viewing area. You also have a short presentation from an indigenous tribe which was very interesting. Water shoes and sun/bug protection are a must.
The 3 hour ATV tour was our favorite part of our entire trip. It was so much fun and challenging enough to feel adrenaline while riding. However the very best part are the sights you see. Also the tour guides are awesome a friendly. 10/10 would recommend!
Oscar and his team were great. We arrived late and had to reschedule 2 hours ahead, but to make it up for OUR inconvenience we were given a pass so we can enjoy the pool and hot springs across the street while waiting for the next tour to begin. After ATVing/hiking up to the closest point to the view of the arenal volcano and getting to learn more about the Native Costa Rican culture through the talk session. Oscar pulled my partner and I aside for a “private” route where we were the only ones swimming in the river. Also took his time to get off his ATV and take pics of us in front of the view of the Arenal Volcano; and took a video of us ATVing through the water. For our first day in La Fortuna, 10/10 experience for sure! Oscar, you are my guy! Note: Do NOT use Waze to get here, use Google Maps or it will take you to a different spot (which they let you know ahead of time)
