We were picked up on time by super friendly tour guide David, who took us to Escobar’s grave, the barrio he had constructed , & the powerful Inflection Memorial Park, which detailed the 160 + random bombings ordered by Escobar. Shockingly David had personal experience of these as he was growing up. The park also honors the 40,000 + victims of his 9 years reign of terror. A very informative & sobering look at dark days.

Amazing experience with David, a very close person very informed about the tour you been selected (in my case Pablo Escobars´s tour), he has hugh good vibes so the experience is absolutly friendly. Very professional and very good person, absolutly recommended. All explanations provided by David increase the knowledgment and make the time spend so fast. Thanks David for all, you have a new friend on me.

Incredible Pablo tour with Luis Alberto Gómez. Luis is very knowledgeable about the history and was able to go in depth about each of the sites we visited. Meeting Roberto Escobar at the museum was a highlight. Definitely would recommend this tour with Luis Alberto Gómez.

We had the best tour with Luis Alberto. He was extremely knowledgeable, not only about Pablo Escobar but also Columbia in general. He really went above and beyond and spent extra time with us. If you are choosing between tours, don't miss out on this one.

Outstanding Tour and Joe is a fantastic guide and person. He will take you places where other tour guides won’t go (you may see if there are other guides nearby in the area that their clients will be looking with envy as you are able to visit places that they aren’t seeing and going into!) and he gives all the great stories and history of what you’re seeing. Plus, if there’s an alternative backstory, he will also tell you that so you can make your own decisions and observations about the history of the place. What I liked also about the tours that you never hear a “no “. If you want to see something he will do is absolute best to make sure you see it and know about it. Super tour, great driver too…and I highly recommend it!

Joe Posada was the best Pablo Escobar guide that we could have had. He was so very knowledgeable. I couldn't ask enough questions, and I was like a sponge just soaking up his knowledge. He was very considerate and protective over my Amiga and I. He made sure we didn't slip down the trail in slippery areas. He opened and closed doors for us, watched out for us as we crossed the street. It turns out the Joe is a very impressive reggaeton free flow-er! He had so much information that was new to me, that varied from the mainstream media. Even after our tour ended, he has been considerate with responding to my ongoing questions as I re-watch the Pablo Escobar Netflix series. Joe was pur guide for two days of Pablo tours, and towards the end I felt like he was my friend. I would highly recommend Joe Posada to anyone who wants an amazing experience in Medellín and who wants to really learn a lot. Gracias, Joe!
