In questo tour completo dell'isola con un comodo minibus climatizzato con la nostra guida locale autorizzata di lingua inglese vedrai il meglio dell'isola di Rodi dal punto di vista della gente del posto. Inizieremo con Filerimos, che oltre alla vista panoramica sul Mar Egeo, è un importante sito archeologico. Da non perdere anche la Butterfly Valley. Successivamente ci dirigeremo verso Seven Springs, un piccolo paradiso segreto, con molti pini e un incredibile flusso di acqua cristallina. Avanti - Lindos! Una volta lì, avrai circa 1 ora di tempo libero per esplorare l'antica Acropoli e passeggiare nel labirinto di vicoli tortuosi. Ultimo ma non meno importante, il centro storico di Rodi con i suoi edifici medievali, chiese imponenti e taverne tradizionali. Avrai circa 1 ora di tempo libero per fare una piacevole passeggiata ammirando i principali punti salienti della Città Vecchia: Quartiere Ebraico, Piazza Ippokratous, famosa Via dei Cavalieri, Palazzo del Gran Maestro, Museo Archeologico e Fortificazioni del Palazzo.

Itinerario
Inizieremo con Filerimos, che oltre alla vista panoramica sul Mar Egeo, è un importante sito archeologico. Qui un tempo sorgeva l'Acropoli dell'antica Ialyssos con un importante tempio dedicato ad Atena Polia. Il colle prese il nome da un monaco che giunse da Gerusalemme nel XIII secolo portando con sé un'icona della Beata Vergine dipinta dall'apostolo Luca. Prendi del pane dal tuo tavolo della colazione, i pavoni che vivono lì saranno felici di ricevere qualche dolcetto in cambio delle foto. L'ingresso è gratuito, tranne se vuoi andare al museo, che è facoltativo, dovrai pagare la quota di ammissione.
Butterfly Valley da non perdere. Ogni anno, alla fine della stagione delle piogge (fine maggio), migliaia di farfalle attratte dal profumo degli alberi della gomma dolce orientale coprono l'intero paesaggio. È un'esperienza davvero unica e dovresti assolutamente provare a vederla. Ci fermeremo in una parte del parco, dove l'ingresso è gratuito, e poi se vuoi andare più a fondo nella valle (che è facoltativa) devi pagare la tassa di ammissione.
Successivamente ci dirigeremo verso Seven Springs - un piccolo paradiso segreto, con molti alberi di pino e un flusso incredibile di acqua cristallina, immerso nel verde che rivela la grandezza della natura. Questo posto meraviglioso ha sette sorgenti scintillanti e alcuni fiumi, che scorre tutto l'anno e non si asciugano mai nemmeno nella stagione estiva molto calda. Tutti formano un lago, che è stato costruito dagli italiani principalmente per fornire acqua fresca al vicino villaggio Kolympia. Questo è IL POSTO per rinfrescarsi anche nel caldo più alto dell'estate e per godersi uno scenario magico e rigenerante.

Avrai circa 1 ora di tempo libero per fare una piacevole passeggiata ammirando i principali punti salienti della Città Vecchia: Quartiere Ebraico, Piazza Ippocrate, famosa Via dei Cavalieri, Palazzo del Gran Maestro, Museo Archeologico e Fortificazioni del Palazzo.

Very good tour, 10 - 5. The 'small group' was the two of us plus a new driver learning the route! Iannis (sp?) was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and squeezed in an extra stop so we could buy olive oil. Lindos is beautiful. Be aware some of the visits needed good mobility.
Booked and paid 2 months in advance. Received confirmation shortly thereafter. Fast forward to less than 1 day before the tour, and the provider cancels the tour and offers another in its place. I scrambled to find last minute replacement and had to request refund to get my money back. I normally don't leave reviews like this but I find this practice unethical and despicable. It is one thing to tell a customer that a tour may not run. It is another to hold their money, strong arm them into something else, then require a customer to intitiate a cancelation. Good luck.
For a 7hr tour there wasn’t any amount of time at all at the locations we visited. 1st stop was a view point and there was a museum. Admission required at the museum but with only 30 min given only had time to walk around the view point. 2nd Stopped at a butterfly conservation for 40 min, had to pay admission and only had time to go halfway in as we had to turn around and head back to bus as not enough time and go to next stop town of Lindos. Once at Lindos given 1hr 15 min. In that amount of time how can you walk around a bit and fit in lunch. Took say 5-10 min to get into tourist area of town and now sit down for lunch 30 min if you got served fast and ate fast that leaves you only 20 min to walk around and then 10 min back to bus. We just grabbed a gyro on the go and still was rushed as there was a lineup for that. Basically saw motion town of Lindos. Back on bus for almost 2hrs back to Old Town where you got dropped off. Amount paid for 7hr day you spent most of the time on the Bus, little time at stops and on top of that pay at each stop to see things or have no time to see things. Not worth the money. Better off just spending the day at Old Town on your own as there lots to see and do there. Best part was our bus driver as he was organized and we had great conversations while on bus. He was a real pleasure. Stellios was his name I believe
We had a nice time! Our driver was nice and informative. The seeing the peacocks and Butterfly Valley were my favorite.
Great tour, i happened to be the only one so the very nice driver/tour guide gave me full freedom to choose where to go and how long to stay in each place. Really nice company to talk to also on the drive to each place! Highly recommend, all places visited are absolutely beautiful and worth a visit!

My experience on this tour was great. I was a bit limited to how much walking I was able to do due to a fall. However, the staff from Half Price Tours including Stelio our driver was very friendly, understanding and accommodating to my situation. Would recommend this tour but be aware there is a lot of walking.

Good day out. Driver, Aldo, was very helpful and accommodating. Butterfly Valley is a real nature heaven. But. Just a heads up if anybody goes in May, you won't see any butterflies as it's not their season yet. Still well worth it just for the nature. Lindos and Acropolis are surely a good visit. The entrance to the Acropolis s €20. A bit steep but still worth it.
I made a booking and Agne contacted me to advise of another booking due to go out and to see my preference. End of season trips and demand wasn’t as high but the trip still ran for 2 participants. I enjoyed the craic from Vitalie and he was a very pleasant and friendly driver, very informative. We agreed on changing times at locations due to the small size to adjust to spend longer in Lindos and stopped at other places to tell us information he felt important to Rhodes and Lindos. Brilliant day out and perfect communication from Agne from booking and reminder messages about transport the evening before etc
